Actually legit, holds up to stated features
To get to the point, I debuted this bag on a camping trip in early December 2022 in the NC Appalachians near Banner Elk in rainy conditions and one of the nights it got down to 33 degrees... I wore literally nothing in the bag the first night just to test its conditions and it really did keep me warm! An issue is that air comes in through the facial hole in the mummy bags so you'll want to find a way to block that without suffocating, but it's better than the alternative. Teton Sports is a great company that, as you can see, is actually active on this page answering questions, I'd definitely listen to them that 0 F degrees actually means you will be kept ALIVE in the bag down to this temperature, but it will begin to be an uncomfortable night at 20 F degrees instead, so read '0' more as '20'. If you don't live in some extreme environment, this is a great bag. Anyone in the southeastern US should be just fine with it. If you bundle up inside it, you're even better off. I also want to say that this thing is more comfortable than my bed. When I entered it the first time, it was like entering some kind of advanced spa. I felt more relaxed than I had ever before, but you're going to get really hot in there if you aren't in the cold! If you get cold easily, perfect. If you stay warm, you'll probably think its even more comfortable in winter weather, which it really can hold up to. My tent got water inside it somehow during those nights last month (it's not supposed to) and you couldn't help but have the bag touch the water... unless you're really tall (like, REALLY tall), you aren't going to take up this whole bag, especially when curled up in the winter weather, so it wasn't an issue. The water didn't soak the whole bag or spread in it, but then again it was so cold maybe I couldn't tell. The only con I would say is that this kind of polyester gets cold very easily, so entering this bag in under 40 degree temperatures is going to feel horrible for about a minute but it warms up extremely fast. I was amazed, inside the bag, reaching out to touch the outside where the bag's surface felt so cold but inside it it was very warm; this thing retains heat very well. I wish they'd make a version of this bag in some kind of hybrid cotton and in warmer colors, you feel like you're entering an alien pod in these colors, but they are really cool to look at and the green exposes any stains or debris in the bag while the external black makes it harder to find stains or issues. The dirt from the wet parts of the tent dried to the bag and wiped off easily, also a nice feature, the bag 'wicks' debris off its smooth surface quite easily. The manufacturer and label claims you can't wash the bag and it voids warranty if you do... that last part might be a problem, but you can absolutely wash the bag. I wouldn't do so OFTEN, considering I did with my Teton Sports camp pillow and it made a hole in the pillow, but you can do it... the idea that you just let your bag air out/stay dirty or wash it by hand is pretty absorbs, no one wants to be doing that. On the road trip, I opened the bag and let it air out and it didn't really smell anymore, though the smoke scent is pretty inescapable even after washing it.

Great for the price
I do a lot of backpacking in fair weather with a Thermarest 32* degree down quilt (highly recommend) but have been looking for a budget synthetic sleeping bag or quilt that is suitable for backpacking in potentially wet winter conditions in Eastern Tennessee/shoulder seasons in colder climates or higher elevation. Taking into consideration how inexpensive it was, it is great for me. It could use some improvement in some areas, but so far I am very pleased with its performance. I have the 0* LEEF "Scout". I am 5'4" 120 lbs and a side-sleeper, and I have plenty of room to squirm and move my feet around, but not so much room that it becomes inefficient. I tend to run cold and like to sleep in lightweight merino long underwear. I use a single-wall 3-season tent. I tested the bag out on an overnight with lows in the high-20s with rain/sleet coming down in the early morning hours, which made everything just a little damp. I used a Thermarest NeoAir Xlite pad like I normally do and brought along my sleeping bag liner just in case the bag was junk, but I didn't need it. I was toasty warm and dry the whole night. I would feel confident using this bag down into the teens without a liner, and down to zero degrees with one. I am impressed with the warmth! It is also really comfortable on the skin. The fabric on the inside is really nice-feeling for a sleeping bag. I like the little zippered pocket so I can keep my water filter from freezing. The bag itself (~3.1 lbs) is of course heavier than an equivalent down bag, but it costs less than half than down, and it won't become completely useless if it becomes wet, as down will. I wanted a synthetic bag for this reason and am willing to carry the extra pound for sake of safety. The stitching could be done more neatly, but there aren't any gaps or loose threads that I have found. It is a budget bag, after all. If I end up having to slap some duct tape on a seam during a trip and break out the sewing kit when I get back, I think I will survive. The stuffsack that comes with it is overkill in my opinion. I don't know how much it weighs, but I didn't bother taking it on my test trip because it felt like at least 8 oz. It has two huge overlapping buckles and cinches, and the material is not forgiving. I may find some other use for the sack, but I would not consider backpacking with it because of its weight. I did try to shove the sleeping bag into an ultralight 10L stuffsack but was just barely unable to. Maybe a 12L would work? Again, it is synthetic, so not the end of the world if it does get damp. And I use a pack liner, so a sack for me would just be for compression purposes/neatness. Thanks for making a warm synthetic bag that doesn't cost a fortune, Teton!

Teton sports 0 degree sleeping bag
This is a very warm sleeping bag. For a zero degree bag this packs down nicely with included stuff sack. I can fit in a backpack with room for other gear. I've had it down to -8 and it worked just fine. Great quality product!

Toasty!
Used it while wild camping with 3°C and I had to sleep naked because I started to sweat. I can't wait to try it with even colder weather! At the beginning I thought the price was too good to be true but it actually is a very good sleeping bag, recommended.

Never felt cold on Kilimanjaro
My wife and I used these sleeping bags on an 8 day Kilimanjaro trek where temperatures can drop below 5 degrees Celsius. Paired with our thermarest sleeping matts and the mountain hardwear tent provided by the trekking company we were never cold. We didn’t have to wear any clothing inside the sleeping bag and if anything there were occasions when we were too hot. My wife feels the cold much worse than me and she never complained about being cold. I’d recommend these sleeping bags.

The bag with space
After a long search, I found the best fitting bag for my wide shoulders, there’s room for my arms to lay by my sides without feeling claustrophobic. Good quality product and wouldn’t expect anything less from this company.

Don't use it when it's colder than 0C.
Just came back from 7 day hiking trip in norther British Columbia and experience wasn't the best. If it was a questionnaire, it's would look like this: Q: Is the sleeping bag comfortable? A: Yes, feels great inside. Q: Does it pack well? A: Yes, packs very well. Q: Did it keep you warm at temperates advertised? A: Not at all. Camped at -7C. I was wearing full merino base layer + other layer, still froze. It was not comfortable. Very cold in feet area. Q: But, did you die? A: No. Q: Will you buy it again? A: Yes, if I used it in summer time only.

I have taken this bag on several (-15C) camps since owning them. Obviously at that temperature, most persons cant expect to jump into the bag stark naked and hope to remain toasty warm. I would argue that regardless of sleeping bag it is quite normal to wake up once or twice before dawn, when it is coldest. This bag has let me sleep through (0C) evenings without once waking up, at lower than (-15C) a little bit of extra stuffing made for a very relaxing sleep. For the price, I believe I got bang for my buck.
