Perfect, just perfect

This brand is AMAZING. I have tall and short boots by this company and must say these are all great for traveling to wonderful places with lots of moisture, mud, and adventure. They are rugged, yet nice looking and will keep feet warm and dry! They are great for Scotland & Iceland for everything except hiking and i'd bet that could be done too if it wasn't too extreme. I can't say enough about these and this brand. I buy them a bit large to accommodate thick socks. Usually I wear a 7.5 in street shoes and 8 in running shoes and ended up fitting the 7.5 but wanted a looser fit for this use so kept the size 8. True to size and plenty of room in the toe box. Enjoy these amazing boots.

Super cute and comfy

Love these boots. They do run narrow, I ordered a half size bigger,typically a 8.5 and ordered a 9. And still a little snug but not tight. very cute!

GREAT

Bought as a gift for my daughter. The leather initially has to stretch briefly, but then fit perfectly! She loves these and wears them everyday! Wish they came in wides for me!!

Getting close to the ideal waterproof bootie.

I bought these to replace an older pair of Teva waterproof booties - de la vina. These Ellery booties are pretty good, but not as comfortable as the De la Vina. I also prefer the style of the de la vina. The Ellery are a bit higher and can rub the ankle/lower leg. I ordered the dark olive and the black. The dark olive was a nice subtle color, but were much stiffer than the black; and rubbed my ankle uncomfortably. I had a trip upcoming so I ended up keeping the black and wearing them a bit. I loosened up the ankle leather with my hands; so with socks protecting my ankles they work. Without socks, I may still get chaffing until they soften more. The insoles are supportive and comfortable, typically I add superfeet inserts for extra comfort in boots, but I am using these without. In conclusion, I will give these 4 stars, but I am tempted to keep searching for the perfect five star pair of waterproof Chelsea style boots.

Comfortable and great quality

These pair of boots are beautiful, comfortable and are made with great quality. I'm definitely happy with them. Also great for Pacific Northwest weather.

Plus size woman- too narrow

I couldn't find this review for myself so I'm sharing for future people. The boots are beautiful, first of all. And they seem like they'd be quite comfortable if they fit you. I am a plus size woman with larger ankles and pudgier feet and I could not even get my foot inside of the boot. I do wear boots from regular stores pretty often, so I am not so large that I cannot fit in boots, but these seemed very narrow and inaccessible.

The Good, The Bad and The Indifferent

The good: The boot looks very nice with jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses and slacks. It's versatile. The ankle is super sturdy and stiff without looking like a clunky hiking boot. The bad: The standard width is pretty narrow for a boot that will be worn in chillier seasons. You are not going to wear your chunky fall socks and be comfortable in your usual size or even half a size. I am someone with a narrow foot and I am going to be wearing thinner socks. The indifferent: The color is as described and not as pictured. Olive is olive even thought it looks brown in the photograph.

Wear long socks

The "Teva Womens womens Ellery Ankle Waterproof Boots Ankle Boot" are great boots for wet days, but you will need to wear long socks to keep them from rubbing on your legs (to the point of bleeding if you are walking lots). They're great as long as the socks are taller than the boots.

Comfy and stylish

Very happy with the purchase, they are very easy to put on and take off and comfortable. The quality is the trusted Teva, these are my third boots from Teva. Highly recommend

comfortable and look good

I find these really comfortable and they go with a lot of clothing options. The only issue I have is getting them on can be a struggle (I have a high instep) as they don’t offer much movement or stretch. Not recommend for anyone who needs something easy to step into.

Super comfortable but “dark olive” is a no.

These are super comfortable! I went a half size up which was a good choice for the slightly narrow fit. However, although I really wanted to like these, I will be returning them as the “dark olive” color is closer to a gum boot green which, with the brown sole, made them unattractive on me.

Gute Schrittsicherheit

Alles soweit ok ..ist immerhin meine 4. Teva-Stiefelette. Leider ist der Einstieg etwas problematisch, da der Reißverschluss bei diesen Stiefeletten nicht bis ganz nach unten geht, also nicht unbedingt für Füße mit einem hohen Spann geeignet Ansonsten Spitzenschuh und traumhafte Farbe (olivgrün). Gerne wieder in 2 Jahren...
