PERFECT mug!

I needed a travel mug to fit with my coffee maker so that the coffee can go directly to the mug. A mug that keeps the coffee HOT for more than an hour. I tend to drink my coffee at my desk while working. Sometimes I get busy and it sits for awhile. I tried about 4 different mugs before finding this one. At last, PERFECT on all counts.

2nd mug

It keeps coffee hot for up 6-8 hrs love that I can hang on side of my cart when I’m working and when closed it doesn’t leak. Got this cause I was afraid they might change the way it’s designed

A great replacement

We bought this mug to replace a much older version of the same thing. The old one was showing its age from lots of use, so we wanted an exact replacement. This is it. It keeps hot coffee hot for hours. The one big difference between this one and the other version of the Thermos Stainless King is this one has a handle, the other one doesn't. Since this is my wife's mug and she has small hands, that handle makes this much more convenient. And we found that the drinking opening is always in the right position for using the handle. That was true on the older one and it's true on this one. We are quite satisfied.

Keeps hot coffee hot for over 8 hours!

Love this Thermos mug! The only issue is the plastic outer cover on the handle fell off.

Great at keeping liquids hot for hours. - EDIT

Pros: 1. Does not leak. 2. Rugged exterior. 3. Thermos brand, very popular. Cons: 1. The "OPEN" and "CLOSE" has white text on black back, and between the two it's hard to tell what it is set at. I wish they would use a more obvious display like a shape (thinking like on a remote control for play and stop) and/or maybe a different color for each. 2. I wish the top color matched the cup color. My wife uses cream and sugar in her coffee and it can leave an aftertaste so I avoid missing the tops. I used her white nail polish and made two dots on the lid for my silver cup so I knew which was which, her cup is blue (but the lids are all silver). 3. The handle kind of gets in the way of my cup holder in my car. I will get one without a handle for mobile purposes. I definitely I will buy more of these. I paid $23.19 for the silver one and $24.99 for a blue one. --- ADDED: I was inclined to add a couple things --- 1. Like folks were having trouble with the lid aligning to where they can sip and and where the handle is. The lid does NOT need to be tightened all the way. There is some play in twisting it back or forth to get the sip opening aligned to your preference. Actually to me, over tightening will just wear out the seal faster. Make it snug and then adjust to your preference. It seals very well. 2. The lid does disassemble for cleaning and I highly recommended it. There are actual YouTube videos explaining how, but the one trick is the clear-ish white gasket seal looks like its up side down in assembly. Remember that. Note: Purchased on 08/25/2022; Update 04/01/2023.

Obsessed

I am obsessed with this tumbler. As others have mentioned, you do need to take the lid apart when cleaning, but it’s super simple. Not once have I felt inconvenienced for having to take one extra step to make sure the lid is clean. And my coffee stays hot for HOURS. I’m honestly considering getting a second one just so I have two in the rotation. Totally recommend this thermos!

My Favourite Brand of Travel Mug

A little pricey but a great leakproof mug that has saved my car rug from spills several times when the mug has accidentally been knocked over. It keeps beverages hot or cold as desired longer than any other mug I have had. Great customer service. I prefer the Thermos mug with a handle but after a few years of use both of my mugs have had issues with the handle. The centerpiece of the handle on the first mug had become dislodged, then lost during use. The handle on the second mug is now extremely wobbly with no apparent way to tighten it.
