Beautiful but not absorbent
Very attractive and go well with placemats. Expected them to be absorbent as Thirstystone used to be. I’ll Ned to use something absorbent in humid weather. I have another brand that is VERY absorbent.

I love them
My friend has told me that I have a coster addiction. I love these 1) larger than my older coasters 2) dragon fly is clearer on the actual coster. I did not purchase the bronze holder when I got the coasters. I was able to find the holder sold without the coasters. Between my 2 purchased, I am very happy.

Not a "thirsty" stone
I bought this so that I wouldn't need to worry about condensation collecting on the coaster. This coaster is NOT porous and does not absorb moisture like a true "thirsty" coaster would. This is like setting your cold drink glass on a round piece of tile. Still protects the table, but I need to put a napkin on top of the coaster to collect moisture.

Great picture quality
I love the looks of these coasters. I just wish the tops were a little more absorbent. They are not bad at all, just not quite what I thought. But they do the job!
