Better than Thorlo Trail Hiker Crew Socks
I'm a 6.5 in my bare feet. I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes because I always add thick insoles. I bought the medium sockets, which say Womens 6.5-10. NO WAY would this fit a size 10. Or even a 9. Or maybe even an 8. Because it just barely fits my 6.5 feet. In fact, it's actually just a little too small for me already as the heel part keeps riding towards the toe and I have to keep pulling it back. I also bought the Thorlo Trail Hiker Crew Socks. Same size, yet those are actually sized properly. When I hold these thick cushion hiking sockets up next to the trail hiker, the trail hiker is a good 1.5-2 inches longer! Other than the sizing issue, these socks are great. Very thick, very comfortable. They do seem to fuzz up with those little lint balls fairly quickly (I've only had these for about 3 weeks and already they're covered in fuzzballs) but maybe that has something to do with how I wash them or how active I am. I wear them all day, with shoes when I'm out and without shoes when I'm home. They do provide some cushioning for the corns on my feet, but not completely. I really like the socks but I'm not sure I would spend this much money on them again. They are superior quality compared to the other wool socks I've been wearing for years, but I'm not sure that they are superior enough to justify more than 5x the price. UPDATE: I've now owned these for about 5 months. I wear my thorlos pretty much every day. The sizing on these no longer bother me. Now I actually consider them a "perfect" fit and they no longer ride down. In fact, the Thorlo Trail Hiker Crew Sock (cheaper version of Thorlo) is the one I'm now experiencing sizing issues with. These women's Thick Cushion Hiking Sock are my go-to socks now. If you're a woman who wants really thick socks, I would recommend paying the few extra dollars for these over the Trail Hiker Crew version because after several months of wear, I can definitely notice the quality of these over the other in terms of wear & tear. However, I still don't know that I would pay the high bucks again for thorlos.

The BEST sock I've ever worn!
I have several pair of Thorlos socks myself and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. Better than ANY other sock I've ever had on my foot. I had bought my husband some to try last year and he raved about them so much I bought him AND my son some for Christmas this year. I am a VERY frugal person and rarely spend a lot of money, but even though I consider these very expensive, they are WELL worth the money! They fit like a glove, are extremely comfortable, wear well, wash well and hold up well over time!

Mt Fav's !
I love these socks and have for several years. I own about 10 pair and wear them in all but really hot weather. They usually last about 3-4 years before they get thin. I think they run a teensy bit small. Never a problem with materials, construction, or defects. None.

Expensive, but so much better than everything else I've tried.
I've been street- and trail-hiking in these socks for years. I've tried several other brands that claim to be padded and optimized for hiking, but they don't hold a candle. These are AMAZINGLY comfortable. Very soft and well-padded on the inside, and a pair is durable enough to withstand regular exercise for a year or two, depending on how often and how far. Fantastic to wear around the house as well as outside. They are a little on the warm side, but still worth it. A little foot powder goes a long way. You only get one pair per package, but once you've used these for awhile, you'll see why they're worth it. They will RUIN normal socks for you, because you will never want to wear anything else!

Extremely comfortable to wear all day
In the past year I have bought 8 different kinds of socks to find some I can wear all day with the most comfort. I am on my feet much of the day, and walking on hard surfaces for years has given me plantat fasciitis. At first I combatted foot pain with stretching exercizes, icing, and ankle brace (to wear during sleep) and comfortable shoes. As the pain did not go away, I added off-the-shelf comfort insoles to my already comfortable dress shoes (Born, Ecco and Merrell). To lessen the pain even more I have worn hiking socks with extra padding for the heel. Of all the brands I have used so far (including Darn Touch Vermont and REI), the Thorlos have been the best. This particular model of Thorlo socks has given me the best combination of comfort and durability, and they do not slip in my shoes as have some others. I will buy these again.

Super soft socks
These socks are definitely not what I want. The part of the sock that goes up the ankle is very thin. I was disappointed with that quality.

Soft, snug fit, and no sagging
These socks replace my De. schol’s Socks, which were always slipping down my leg and were not soft enough. These Thorlos grip your feet snugly, but are not overly tight. They stay up on your leg rather than sagging or riding down. They have also remained soft after numerous washings (always remember to turn the socks inside-out before washing). They also tend to keep your feet dry even during a vigorous 2-hour exercise routine. I initially bough 3 pairs just to check their fit but now I own more than a dozen. I wouldn’t consider them cheap socks, but they are worth it.

Best hiking socks ever!
After hiking in 'other' socks I have to say Thorlo's are the ones I am most impressed with. Soft, comfortable and very long lasting (I had one pair for 14 years) I can honestly say that I have never had any blisters with these socks, even after a 20 mile hike with wet feet. Highly recommended!

The extra padding feels great and help keep the feet comfy
I bought these to use at work as I'm constantly standing on concrete all day in work boots. The extra padding feels great and help keep the feet comfy. Will order again later on.
