Small and light weight. 300 lbs weight limit.

Unlike most camping chairs it is not completely rigid. It will flex if you lean to either side. This might take some getting used too. It quickly folds up very small and is light weight. This chair is comfortable for what it is, a small low chair to keep you off the ground while you lean back and relax. I weigh 265 lbs, this chair has a 300 lbs weight limit.

Mostly good so far!

I like this chair for the most part so far! It's pretty lightweight, and fairly easy to assemble. Like other similar chairs, all the metal poles disconnect and fold up (with elastic ropes inside the metal legs keeping them "together" like tent poles). Because the back comes so far up, it is pretty comfortable to sit in, with plenty of back support. The only thing that could eventually make this uncomfortable might be how thin it is; when you sit in it and lean against the back, the sides get quite tight if you have wide hips like I do. Another thing to keep in mind is how small the legs are (see the picture; the legs are not very wide compared to the chair). This makes the balance a little questionable - if you are on soft ground you may have problems with this chair. The chair is also fairly low to the ground, but it's still high enough that it's comfortable for your legs still. Overall, I like this chair, but it is quite pricey for $75 at the time of writing; if you're not in need of the back support, you can get similar chairs with better balance (but also lower backs) in the $25-$40 price range. This is a pretty good chair, but it's hard to justify at the price.

Sturdy bur Expensive

So it's definitely small when packed up and easy to travel with. It's probably a third of the size and less than half the weight of the collapsible rocker chairs we take to the kids sports games. BUT, those chairs are a lot more comfortable and easy to set up, so it's a give and take. This chair is not uncomfortable, but it's better if you're smaller. I'm 6/2, 230lbs so kinda at the limits of what this thing can comfortably hold. That being said, I don't feel like it's going to break under my size, just crammed a little. Set up takes about 60 seconds or so. Gotta use a little strength to stretch the material of the last poles, but there are tabs you can use to grab on to and pull the material tight. Those are very helpful. Overall, if you want something lighter and smaller, this is a good bet. The price is kinda ridiculous honestly....this really should be down in the $50 range I feel like. That being said, I've seen a similar chair in IG ads that looks similar and those are like $100+ (very ridiculous). I do like the Timber Ridge brand though. They're stuff has been high quality in the past and I see they sell in Costco now as well, so not just a random, fly-by-night, Amazon knock-off brand.

comfortable

At first when i sat on this chair i was a bit skeptical because the legs seemed so small and a bit wobbly. However, It holds up just fine and is surprisingly comfortable. It is also so compact and lightweight. Considering the quality, I think it is just a bit overpriced.

Compact, but not very stable

Initial set up of this chair was challenging. I was afraid I was going to break something when I stretched the fabric to the poles. After a few minutes, I finally got each pole in their right spot without breaking anything! So, it's possible, just keep trying. Our children like to use this chair, but often tip over in it. If you're adjusting constantly or have a hard time getting up, this chair might not be for you. The compact size is amazing. It is less than 1/2 the size of our standard camping chairs when folded up in the bag, which is a huge bonus when we're packing to go somewhere. Regular chairs take up so much room.

Compact, but not fast to set up

This is a nice compact chair, but does take a few minutes to set up. So not exactly handy for a quick sit. But the high back makes this chair comfortable and it’s really nice for car camping when you’re in one spot for a few days!

Can be difficult to assemble but great once done.

For a portable heavy duty chair capable of holding an incredible 300 pounds, this is a nice very well constructed chair. The heavy design also gives it its one bad point, assembly. You assemble the sturdy aluminum frame which very nicely comes "dummy proof". The legs disassemble but do not detach fully so you have no choice but to put them in the correct location. This is a great feature for people that arrive at the camp site as the sun sets. Assembling furniture in the dark is a whole new challenge and this chair designer thought of that with the elastic cords that keep the pieces together as a whole even when disassembled. This sturdy design, however, also makes it a bit of a challenge to stretch the chair material into place over the leg parts. There are finger loops that aid in this and allow you to pull firmly to stretch it and once the poles are in the slots they slide in and the chair is ready for use. Very strong chair with very little side to side wobble. The base is non-standard in that there are 4 base legs instead of the normal floppy 3 points a lot of camping chairs have and this 4 leg design gives stability in all 4 directions of the compass. I did find a bit of pressure on my thighs from the stitching of the seat portion and I could see that causing aggravation if sat in for several hours but I think for normal use it will be very comfortable.
