Great quality
I have been wearing boots for 53 years and have tried countless varieties. These are a high quality product and are wonderfully lightweight. The most surprising bit is the comfortable fit with no rub spots or blisters. I have walked miles daily wearing these for a few months now and am very impressed.

Nothing beats Timberland boots!
30 years ago I gifted my son with a pair of Timberland boots. He wore them hard for 25 years. He bought more expensive boots a few years ago and they lasted less than 6 months, so I got this pair of Timberland boots for him. He loves them and they fit better than any other shoes he's had. Timberland boots are simply the best!

Great boots for trucking in bad weather
I've been wearing these in every kind of weather imaginable, including ice and snow, and torrential rain. They've kept my socks dry and my feet warm. They have really grippy treads on them, which makes them great for truck drivers like me who run reefer loads (you know how the trailers get icy and slippery, right?).

Decent Hiking Shoe, not for long distance
I wore this shoes on a 18 mile hike. The first 8 miles were fine, but by the 10th mile I had blisters on both heels. The backwall of the shoe is thin and will rub on your feet after a prolonged period of time. Shoe was still mostly comfortable, supporting, and nicely waterproof.

1st time buying boots unseen
After taking a nasty spill on some ice while wearing an old pair of boots I decided I needed a new pair of boots. Not really being able to get out and try on some boots due to the fall I had, I decided to give these a try. They fit perfectly, I ordered 11¹/² because that is what I typically wear in athletic shoes. I have never worn this brand before so I was little leary. I would have gave 5 stars if they would had been delivered same day as requested, but that is not a knock against the boot. Great value for the price.

Five Years Later……
…and these boots are still getting it done. I’ve worn these boots two to three weekends each month at my Colorado mountain cabin and they are in great shape and still waterproof. I’ve only had to replace the shoe laces a couple years ago. If you want a great boot that will last for not a lot of money, this is your boot. I would definitely buy again if I ever wear these out.

Timberland Flume vs Rockport Elkhart
I just purchased a pair of Timberland Flume as well as a pair of Rockport Elkhart. They are very similar and excellent boots, but with different pros and cons. (They both cost around $100). They are so similar (colour, shape, style, built, etc.) that if I had to wear one on each foot, no one would actually notice! Here is a comparison of both products: 1) Timberland Flume PROS: Very light and comfortable Softer leather than the Rockports More comfortable than the Rockports Slightly wider than the Rockports (The Rockports are extremely tight fitting ... but at the same time offers great support) Slightly better arch support than the Rockports CONS: It is not quite a size 9. Beware, these shoes tend to size a bit smaller than expected. I had just purchased the exact same pair of Timberland Flume for my son in size 10 a few weeks ago (from a local store). Since I am usually a size 9 (I typically go from size 8.5 to 9.5), I opted for a size 9, which is my regular size. However, the Timberlands seem to be closer to a size 8.5 than a size 9! Ideally I would need a size 9.5 and actually feel that my son's size 10 are probably close to a 9.5. Therefore, if you tend to be between sizes you MUST go with the size above, particularly if you intend to wear thicker socks. 2) Rockport Elkhart PROS: Equally light (perhaps a touch heavier than the Timberlands) A bit less casual. The front part of the boots is actually longer and therefore they looks less like hiking boots. Much tighter fit than the Timberlands. Since I have particularly slim feet I happen to like the foot support, but beware that if you have wide feet, these boots won't fit you! Real size 9. No problem in terms of length. CONS: Slightly more rigid leather than the Timberlands and therefore less comfortable out of the box (particularly around the ankles) Slightly less arch support (but still excellent). CONCLUSION: I will keep both pairs. I'll keep the Timberland size 9, although they are definitely more of a size 8.5 than a size 9. My son's size 10 are better in therms of length but a bit loose, since I happen to have narrow feet (he has wider feet than me). Anyone with wide feet will definitely like the Timberlands over the Rockports. Ideally Timberland should offer these shoes in half size increments, since my impression is that they are half a size too small. Since the Timberlands are more comfortable and more casual, they will be my day-to-day shoes this winter. I'll also keep the Rockport and will wear them less frequently since they are slightly less comfortable. I'll keep them when I want to wear something slightly less casual than the Timberlands. If I had to chose only one pair, I would probably go with the Timberlands ... particularly if they were available in size 9.5!

But the boots are well made and extremely comfortable. The colour is great and the delivery was ...
Well made. These boots are for walking the dogs. Whilst they say waterproof you won’t have completely dry feet but I get that as you’ll only be 100% dry with boots that are rubber or vinyl. But the boots are well made and extremely comfortable. The colour is great and the delivery was a little earlier than expected which was great. Overall a good purchase.
