These work well, please be sure you know what you are doing before messing with electricity
These work very well, both as vacancy switches and as occupancy switches (as we ended up using them) - not only do we not need to worry anymore about the kids leaving the light on in the bathroom, it turns on automatically when we step in :) One slightly quirky thing to be aware of is that in occupancy mode, if you turn the lights off manually, it will still continue to count the time you set it to (we have it set to 10 minutes) before allowing the occupancy sensor to turn the light back on automatically. I don't find it a problem (you can always click the switch to turn it on manually even in occupancy mode, and if the inconsistency bothers you - just set it to vacancy mode and consistently turn the light on manually) Installing these is not trivial and PLEASE do not ignore the requirement to have a neutral wire! If you don't know how to check if there's a neutral wire in your existing junction box stay safe and don't install this on your own, get an electrician. You are likely going to need to use a non-contact voltage tester "tester pen" in this installation because you will also need to be able to identify which of the wires going into your old switch is the "live" and which one is the "load" (and unless this is super obvious based on the directions wires are coming into the junction box, you'll have to turn the electricity on with the wires accessible and use that tester to identify it - again, if this sounds scary to you DON'T DO IT, get someone who knows what they are doing) Once I figured out which of the 4 wires is which, replacing an old switch with this one takes no more than 10 minutes.

They work perfect.
I have a split basement that I use for wood projects on one side and exercise room on another. These work extremely well. The detection angle is great the sensitivity is great and the price for 2 of these is great. I recommend these, unless you have a two wire home. These require a neutral, a hot and a ground. Great detectors and the reviews were spot on.

Easy to install and works well!
Note: I did return one of six that I ordered as it had a burnt smell indicating that someone tried to install it and did it incorrectly and returned it. All of the others looked brand new an are working perfectly. If you have never done any electrical work before, I strongly recommend contacting an electrician. They are easy to install but also electrical switches are easy to do something wrong when adding or replacing.

Must have
Moved out of rental took two of these out first (I installed), I’m not leaving them behind. Moved from Fl to TX and needed these two here so have 4 now. These are awesome. I have them in bathrooms with light AND fan connected and in a kitchen pantry that always got left on. These are best for bathroom, especially if someone is always saying, did your turn the fan off, go turn the fan off. Cause then others (kids) learn just leave the fan off the entire time, steamy walls is the least of the issue, walk in behind one of those boys and boom, I about permanently wired the fan ON. But these do great, never touch anything, walk in and lights and fan on, walk out and 5 or 7 min later they are off. No yelling about the fan left on and fumes are evacuated, steam too. Adjustable and once you set them, forget as they just work. Never had issue with two in Florida for a year and now have those two plus these two bought here and flawless. Some say they draw power just sitting off, if they do I don’t care for the benefit of them and it would have to be penny’s a month, really, just go with it. I’m also a big Z-Wave user, 16 wall switches and about 4 plug switches with dimmer, but yet I still use these.

Reasonably satisfied
These motion detectors are fairly easy to install and use. If you are replacing a standard wall switch the key bit of information that you need to know that isn’t in the directions is that the bottom wire of the old switch is the Hot/Line (goes to the black wire on the motion switch) and the top wire (often also black) is the Load (goes to the red wire on the motion switch). Bottom=Hot. Top=Load. My only minor complaint is the dials that adjust range/time don’t seem to have as much fine tuning as I would like. At the lowest setting the timer shuts the light off after 15sec. If you move the dial the smallest amount above the minimum the timer is now at about 90sec. A little more and it’s about 3-4min. I don’t know how many people need a motion controlled light to stay on for 30min. I feel like if they made the Max 10-15min it would provide for a bit more fine tuning.

Hands down the best motion switch I have used
This is one of the best motion sensor switches I have installed. It works hands down better than most of the others I have used. Also, they embedded the plastic on the back with what each wire was for, so you didn’t have to look at the installation port to remember which wire was for what. My house didn’t match the colors, but I was able to get it installed on the first try as a lucky guess. All of the wires in my wall had white paint on them so I couldn’t tell what was what. But I did use a meter to tell me what was hot or not. The motion and timer on this thing is great. I actually use one of these in my master closet which has the switch in a far to reach spot. The moment I even get close to 90 degrees from the detector, it turns on. Also, I put the time on for about a minute and a half and the light never turns off prematurely. The motion on this is really great even to catch the smallest of movements when I have the range turned all the way up. Hands down, the best motion switch I have used.

Great product, works as expected
Product works great and as it should. no real complaints. However one small jiffy, the motion sensor doesn't seem to capture anything below it, so my kid sometimes doesn't trigger it - or the one by our stairs doesn't get triggered until you're leveled with the sensor... I imagine a lot of them on the market are like that though. BIG QUESTION: had a question for the seller or anyone with the know-how, here it goes: Does anyone have any clue how to get the wall switch to trigger the same light from two different areas? Here's my dilemma, I have a turning stair case and the motion switch is installed at the top, and no switch or motion sensor at the bottom. It only triggers at the top going down. However going from bottom up nothing triggers until I reach the top landing area where the motion sensor switch is. Ideally I would like for the light to trigger on both ends since I go up and down the stairs frequently. I've tried using a mirror with mixed success. At fairly close proximity it appears to work if I angle it right. But a little further midway down the stairs and it doesn't trigger anything. Not sure whether it's cause I'm not angling it right or whether the mirror somehow diminishes the "strength" of the sensor... otherwise based on observation the sensor itself is strong enough to reach the distance I'm shooting for. My other option was to solder long wires to a separate PIR motion sensor I purchased (see image gallery). The additional PIR motion sensor is simply just that, a sensor with 4 wires coming out... not a switch. I was hoping to place this one at the bottom of the stair case, using long wires to connect it to the upper stair case Motion sensor light switch. I was thinking of soldering the wires directly to the circuit board of the motion sensor light switch (same connection points where the native sensor is already installed on the switch.) I'm assuming if I solder the same wires to the same points it'll somehow complete a circuit or trigger it the same way the native sensor would. But after taking a closer look at the circuit board, not all the connection points are labeled clearly enough where I would feel comfortable enough to go ahead with it. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated! better yet, if anyone could suggest how I can get this to work that would be awesome. Wow I wrote a lot, hope this finds somebody lol.

Check the existing wiring before ordering
Although my wiring was complicated, the right coloured ones were there. I had the motion detector switch turning on my bathroom fan about 10 minutes after the product was delivered. It's nice to have something work out so well, and I am impressed with the quality of all of the components and the attention t detail. My old unit was a well-known product, which failed, and looks like a piece of junk next to this new one.

Does not work.
From the moment I saw the reapplied seal, I had a bad feeling. Upon opening the individual box containing the switch, I noticed more evidence that they had been tried and returned for some reason. Since I thought that they must have been checked by some product specialist and repacked with confidence, I should give it a try and not to waste all the shipping efforts. Unfortunately, nightmare came true: both had been previous opened and used, even worse: neither works. Shouldnt be mailed out the returned ones without carefully checked .
