Good value

I was reluctant to buy these router bits. But I didn’t want to spend $200+ on the cmt bits. I saw a review on you tube and the guy had decent things to say about the trend bits. I have test four how them on pine. No burning good smooth cut. I did have one bit slide In the Collett. Not a big issue. For the money you can’t go wrong

Broke the first time using

I purchased this set on Nov. 30, 2019. Today, Nov. 29, 2020 I had a project that required using the 1/4" Straight bit. I drilled a hole in the plywood since I do not have a plunge router base for my Porter Cable 890 router. The first circular pass went well. I was routing less than 1/4" into 3/4" plywood. Upon lowering the bit I proceeded to route a second pass, again this time less than 3/16" in depth. The bit lasted at best 5 inches before it broke off inside the collet. Needless to say, I waited far too long to even attempt to use these bits to ask for a return/refund. I will attempt to contact the supplier to see if they will stand behind their product. Not holding my breath. Update:Dec.8,2020. I received an email today from Trend stating that a replacement bit is being sent. They do stand behind their product.!!

I ordered another set thinking the first one that showed up just like this was just a fluke but this is the second set that I've received it looked just like this. Buyer beware

Disappointed Trend quality control (dangerous)

The media could not be loaded. Diy'er who buys for quality over price. Trend TCT 24pc router starter set. The router bit I had been waiting for in the set arrived with bent shaft. Had I not inspected it first, used in router, it would have been very dangerous at the high speed a router works at. It would no doubt throw the router all over the place as well as destroy the workpiece. Shame on Trend. Would not expect this even from a cheep router set. However, Amazon sending replacement set without quibble, top marks, so here's hoping it's a one off from Trend. The rest of the router bits seem very sharp, well made and good storage case.

Good price

These do fine for the sort of work I do, find they go dull fairly quick. If I wanted absolute precision I would buy a better quality product.

Good product, just the box damaged

Good product but the box's glass is not very strong and actually came broken.

Value for money

Arrived with the very fragile see through panel completely broken and all the bits loose. Used the 1/2” 6.3mm bit to test a new Makita router and it snapped in 3 seconds! Tried a couple of other bits and they seemed ok. Returned for a refund. Purchased the 35 piece 1/2” set as it works out very good value. A little nervous about the strength of the thinner bits.
