Love the idea of it

There are many things I love about this liquid soap dispenser. I love that it has a wide top and doesn't tilt when I press down on it to dispense the soap; I love that it's just the right size to fit to the side of the tap built into my apartment's old vanity; and of course I love that it's pink. The cup fits a reasonable amount of liquid soap but beware to fill it only 2/3 of the way, maybe not even that. If you do, the soap will quickly displace and spread all around the dispenser's innards and will result in its top housing to stick to the cup, making it a bit of challenge to unscrew to refill the cup. Once I figured that out, I've been using the soap dispenser without incident.

Quirky and Super Useful!

I love the fun design of this dispenser. But it's more than that - they really thought through the use of this! Pros: - Clear bottom - That way you can see when you're running low on soap - Clean design - It's really sleek and there's no little pump head to press on; the whole thing is a pump, so it's super easy to press. - Full pumps - You get a good amount of soap dispensed per pump, and it's really smooth. Also, I never felt that it would tip over. - Long/angled nozzle - Just a good design feature! - Build - it seems really well constructed and durable. Cons - None!

Not really good for one-handed dispensing or for kids

I bought this with the intent of putting it in the kids' bathroom (our kids are 5 and under) for them to use. Sometimes they've had problems working the standard soap pumps, and right now we've got an automatic "hand sensing" dispenser in there for them. This is kind of a challenging pump to use for a number of reasons. For one, most pumps you can operate by keeping your hand under the spout and pressing down on the top with your thumb. This dispenser pretty much requires that you use one hand to push the entire top shell down, while you keep your other hand under the metal spout. Second, the force required to depress the pump is somewhat high. You've got to really press to get it to work, and that might not be easy to do with wet, slippery hands. Third, the pump is a bit unstable. The base tapers in at the bottom, so while you've got the sink and the pump all wet, the slippery soap remnants and the water you just added mix with the large amount of force you need to work the pump and the narrow base, and you're likely to end up tipping the pump over into the sink. This doesn't happen all the time, but it seems like some better design would go a long way.

Love these little gems!

I've purchased about six of these for use as soap and lotion dispensers. They're charming, but sadly, they don't work well with heavy hand lotion. Two of them have broken (there's a hidden mechanism in the top that becomes stuck), but I replaced them anyway just because they're so cute and go with my decor in the kitchen and bathroom.

Cute & functional

I've used both the large size and smaller size of this Umbra dispenser. The larger size holds more soap, but the small one is cute, cute, and fits my needs. It's easy to pick up the small one and use it in the shower. The large one is great as a stationary dispenser and it has a tiny "window' for you to see when you need to refill it. The disadvantage to the small one is that you need to refill it often. I bought both in black, and they look great even if you splash water on them.

Great option

Super easy because it has more surface space to push down own when your hands are already wet or dirty, easy to refill, hasn't clogged, take take different consistencies of soaps, comes in a selection of colors, easy to rinse and wash as well

Simple and does the job.

Good modern design. Does the job. Easy to take apart and fill up. No gimmicks. Does what it needs to do. Gives a good amount of liquid soap each pump. Just need to pump once each time. Functions very well. Nothing fancy and just does what it needs to do.

It’s compact, easy to refill, easy to use. Blends well with other countertop or bathroom items and does what it is supposed to do. 10/10.

Ingenious design that does away with 2 major soap pump design flaws

Do you hate how liquid soap starts oozing out from under the bottom of the pump handle after a while? Or with some designs, how the soap gets watered down from the water getting into it from peoples' wet hands? Well this pump design does away with both of those problems. Plus it's cute but that's subjective. One star off of sturdiness for being plastic but I can't complain at the price I paid for it.

Great for hand sanitizer

Got two to use as hand sanitizer pumps in my car and at the office. Both work fantastic with no leaks. Well worth it.
