Worked as expected

The color matched perfectly and application was very easy. You do have to squeeze the bottle pretty hard to fill the applicator tip but once it's full it applied just fine.

Not for large areas

Unsatisfied with the product mainly because the form factor wasn't suited to my project (a small butcher-block counter) - the applicator tip is just too small to provide even distribution of product, so I had to apply far more coats than anticipated. But for small craft projects or thin wooden pieces (like chairs slats?) it would probably be alright.

I would bu it if you have to paint nooks and crannies as it will be hard to do with this stained

Be careful with this applicator

This product is not the best, it's almost impossible to get it out with the attached applicator and if you try to squeeze or shake, it just pops out and splatters everywhere. I had to transfer the content into another container and use it like a regular stain, which defeats the purpose of buying this "easy to use" product. Also, with even the lightest coat it took forever to dry. Took me over two weeks between application and dry wait time for 3 coats to come close to desired colour. Also, the cap was lose and dripping when it arrived.

Perhaps I got a bum one?

It wouldn't apply evenly, seemed thick but in clumps. I even tried wiping it all on with a soft cloth after applying clumps, but it still wasn't anywhere near even. I stain many small wooden plaques so am used to the basics of wood stain. Perhaps I got an old bottle (it hadn't been opened) and the contents were drying/clumping?

Easy to apply and mess free.

I purchased an damaged dresser for a great price. This stain covered up the scratch with only two applications. I like that I didn't have to usr drop cloths, since one scratch was close to the floor. Just shake, swipe the area, and let dry. No cleanup or fumes. Perfect.
