Very strong
I was pleasantly surprised with this velcro. I used it on an orthopedic walking boot because the original straps were not very good. I was very happy with this product.

Simple solution to many sized problems
What a great idea for securing tarps or any other items. Dual sided fastening makes what might be a more difficult job a piece of cake. The tape itself is easy to maneuver.

Bought at under 12 last year...hoped to buy more today..NO WAY at more than double the price????? But love this stuff.
Ok was back to buy more today...oh no I won't...last year when I bought it I got the 45 foot roll of white for under 12 dollars..I KNOW what an amazing deal. Today it's 32.00 So more than doubled in price? I love this stuff...the one wrap...but pretty much all velcro products even the adhesive had it's place. In fact just used the same white velcro slightly wider in adhesive applied the hook there of to the back of two 50 Watt solar panels...semi flexibile solar panels so very thin and light weight. I had made a book case that closes up similar to two frame picture album hinged together. This was great except the panels weren't cut perfectly even and at least one edge was way narower than the other 7. And another edge was very crooked or tapered from very narrow to wider so this made it difficult to make the frame to match perfectly without some of the frame covering an edge into the panels themselves. Not knowing if that could be harmful to the panels I was not sure what to do. Yes they worked and used them for a few years. But monkey see monkey do comes to mind. Watching a video where a man was applying similar but larger solar panels to the top of his converted van in strong wind .... he applied adhesive velcro to the top of the van roof and to the back of the panels too. OMGOSH that would work for me. So using this one wrap and sewing loop side up in place to the fabric back of the frame I then cut out identical lengths of the adhesive hooking white tape...heavy duty by Velcro brand too...and leaving the backing on at first I put the hook right over the loop firmly pressing into place to hold well. Then loosened all the strips on the adhesive but did not remove them yet. Positioned the panel where it needed to be I carefully reached beneath and pulled all strips off and dropped the panel onto the ahdesive facing up. And then pressed firmly again flipping it over from the back side. I have soft packing foam that came with the panels so I use that to protect their fronts. In the end this worked great. I have no intentions of removing them from the backing but if ever I did need to...I could do that. And I tested against wind and they are not going anywhere. Meantime...I'll hold out for a while to see if this comes down again..last year it did...but last year it was never this high period. Some things I do I like white others I favor black so have both. For the adhesive project above black would be fine but my only adhesive velcro in the heavy duty 15 foot roll was white so stayed with it. My project also used over 9 feet so have less than six left. AHHHHH...sniffles. Can never have enough velcro. Buy the way I do have non velcro brand hook/loop but find the Velcro a better product in general and thinner too. I can sew through it with out gumming up my needle. The off brands which I bought in numerous colors red.yellow.blue.green all in one wrap type has a glue between the hook and loop melding them together and it gums up sewing machine needles something awful. I haven't been able to use it in any of my planned projects where I needed to sew it in place. Happy velcroing...can never have too much.

I use it to hold my extension cords, water hoses, and just about anything I store. Excellent performance with everything I use it on.

Nice fat straps will hold almost anything. Velcro is just magic, y'know?
I laugh at all the various uses I find for this stuff (we just hacked together some DIY hand straps for our VR headset using nothing but this). The Velcro brand is still worth something, so it's worth paying a bit more for. These are very wide straps, so they're probably not useful for binding up cables under your desk or whatever. These are for when you need nice wide straps with a strong grip.
