A well done basic

The Vera Bradly compact toiletry bag is a nice size for short trips or when you want to carry just the essentials. It is well thought out and constructed. The large zipped section and 3 smaller zipped sections are waterproof and there is a small cloth section on top for jewelry or other small essentials. The entire bag is quilted lightweight ripstop, which is water resistant nylon and it is lined in a floral print, as you might expect from Vera Bradley. There is also a lightweight but sturdy buit in hook to hang it for easy access and visibility. I have several toiletry bags which are larger, and know that I virtually always overpack. It is usually the heaviest item in my bag. In these times of reduced weight and size in airline allowances, it usually pays to buy what you need when you get there, or use what is provided by the hotel (depending of course, on your travel arrangements). I suspect that each of us has a few things which we use on a daily basis and would not substitute. This bag provides enough storage for a few essentials. The top compartment is sized right for cosmetics, with a long, slim pocket for pencils, brushes and two smaller compartments which will each accommodate one or two small items. I think this bag will keep me within my weight limit, or allow me to use more of it for other things.

Very compact hanging cosmetic bag of beautiful quality

Be aware that this is exactly what it says – a compact bag. If you are taking an overnight trip, this should be sufficient for your needs, however if you are taking a weeklong trip, you are almost certainly going to need more toiletries than this bag will hold. The quality level is fantastic. It has a beautiful finish, really cute fabric on the interior, and clear zippered pouches so that you can see exactly what is inside. I wish the pouches would flex open a little bit farther, because it feels a little hard to get my hands and to reach everything, however in the interests of keeping things compact, I understand why they made things the size that they are. The biggest compartment fits exactly the amount of toiletry that the airlines will let you bring on as a carry-on, so this is perfect for the frequent overnight traveler. I really especially like the hanger at the top, which is very generously apportioned and folds into the bag perfectly. This has a beautiful design and is made of very nice quality materials. I really like the quilted exterior, and the performance twill is a really nice, high end fabric.

I use this as a jewelry bag!

I have way too many toiletries to even use this as weekend bag (the problem with selling makeup and skincare) but this bag is the perfect size to take jewelry.

Small, but nice

This is a little smaller than I was anticipating, but does pack well in a carryon (if not flying). Holds my soaps, lotions, and shampoo easily. I put my make up and hair items in another pouch. Hangs well on the door knob without touching the floor.

Strawflower pattern

I had bought this pattern in a lay flat duffle bag for a granddaughter, I wanted to add a few more pieces to go with it. This item came just as expected, very pretty for the 17yr old.
