Above and beyond all expectations

I purchased these a couple of months ago and I do a lot of general outdoors activities and determined that I needed a good glove for doing so. Before these I had some knockoff airsoft type glove that held up fairly well for being cheap and low quality but ultimately didn't provide much utility beyond not tearing up my hands. After that I grabbed some gloves from the local 5.11 store in hopes of an upgrade but they still didn't perform as well as I would have liked and I just wanted a dependable pair of gloves. These gloves have been stunning in terms of both functionality and durability, I shopped around for quite a while as I was willing to spend a bit of money as these aren't exactly low cost as far as gloves go and I would not hesitate to say that these are the best outdoor glove on the market. Places like 5.11, Mechanix, Outdoor Research and others simply get crushed by these Vertx gloves and to be honest I hadn't even heard of Vertx before this. I have used the gloves while kayaking, rappelling, shooting, climbing both rocks and rope, carrying logs, lots of woodcutting, moving hot metals and building fires and other unusual scenarios that I'm sure I am forgetting to mention but the point is if you need one glove to sort of do it all this is the glove to beat. Fire resistance, water resistance, somehow both breathable and warm when needed they really covered all of their bases, I have no problem using these in the summer and I'm sure I will have no trouble in the winter. There is no loss of grip whether they are completely soaked or literally reaching into a fire they simply work no questions asked which is huge because I needed gloves that I could trust. When you are rappelling down a cliff with a 60 lbs backpack and gear the last thing you want is to be worried about if your gloves still work when they get sweaty. Pros: Extremely Durable Comfy I have fairly large hands and bought XL and they fit great Great grip Excellent fire resistance and water resistance Good dexterity, felt no need to chop off the fingertips to tie knots, etc. Cons: Due to the tougher materials they can take a bit of time to dry, so if you are covered in sweat or were just working in a river expect the gloves to be wet for a while, although there is no loss of grip when wet so it's just a matter of preference if you don't like wet gloves which I don't mind but may be a con for some. At the time of writing this there are no other actual reviews for these gloves which if you are like me can leave you a bit suspicious about the actual quality but I can say for certain that these are the real deal and the best glove I have ever used. I have the Black and once the OD Green come back in stock I expect I will pick up a spare pair in that as well, I cannot recommend these enough.
