A real arm saver!

So far these sleeves have really saved my arms at work while welding. They have not caught on fire and have protected me very well. It would be nicer if they were a little bit longer than they are, maybe four inches so they won't pop out of my gloves as quick. Thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but with that said I would order another set tomorrow without thinking about it.

Too loose for women.

The leather is soft. Too soft. They don't stay up on my arms and I can't tighten them anymore. These things should specify men only or large bicep women. I'm about 1/4" from being able to wear them upside down. I may have a leather worker take them in. IF they fit better, they'd be 5 stars because they are certainly better than wearing a jacket in the hot summer months. But for now I'll stick with the knit kevlar gloves.

Great for leggings too

I use these for leggings with my shorter boots and they serve splendidly for that purpose. They are quite sticker proof and a fraction of the price of leather leggings made for that purpose.

Ordered these a while back and they've been taking a beating 8 to 11 hours a day in a fast paced fabrication environment and do an exceptional job keeping my arms safe from sparks and spatter. Dont ever wash them! The filthier they are the more they'll protect.

the work for awhile

buttons and closures ended up failing inside of a week gave them to my little brother for his welding job
