Annoying warning buzzer

I like the size and volume of this timer, and the fact that it has an hour setting. Many timers just have minutes/seconds. But, this timer buzzes every 5 minutes it counts down for some strange reason. Set it for 30 minutes and it will buzz at 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.. The 5 minute buzz is short, so there is no mistaking it for the final loud repeated buzzing. Weird. UPDATE: After 4 months I've grown to love this timer. Many recipes call for stirring every 5 minutes and this little gem buzzes every 5 minutes. Also, if I don't turn off the timer after final buzz it starts to count up in a positive direction. So if I'm outside and do not hear it, I will know exactly how much time elapsed since it went off. Today, I would give this timer a rating of 5.

Good stand, good clip, good sound.

Excellent product. Nice loud beep (though a bit screechy). Stand is very good, doesn't easily tip over. Clip is strong and can be attached easily to clothing or whatever. Nice to have hours and minutes; much more functional for cooking than minutes and seconds. We love it!

OK does what I wanted

Once I got use to the fact it had hour and minutes, instead of minutes and seconds, It works great.

A very dependable device with multiple useful features.

This is my 2nd one. My first one pooped out after 10 years of service (it didn't help that I dropped it on the concrete floor). It's a very good product.
