Best Glue

I've used Aleene's tacky glue for years but this takes it up several notches. It adheres faster and better without gluing body parts together. Would definitely recommend.

Sets up significantly faster than regular.

Love the normal tacky glue, this one just shaves off some waiting time for set up. For a class project with students, this matches their patience in holding still just about right. A winner.

Best all purpose glue!

I love this glue, it works so well & the turbo tackiness means you only have to hold something together for like 10 seconds before it sticks which is so much better than while glue. I used this glue for making building models in architecture school and I still use it today for just about anything - crafts, home fixes, wood projects, etc. Highly recommend.

Not particularly impressed

The glue does stick quite permanently and that's a plus. The cons: Although it says that it dries fast, the glue for small or delicate areas keeps slipping and compromises the quality of that detail work. The tip of this glue pen: oh my, I don't know why they didn't just make a straight tip? It looks like glue accumulated around the tip, which doesn't help the outcome as well. You get a clumsy result. The glue just pops out on delicately limited small areas. Here is an image comparing another brand glue tip with this one. See how just towards the tip it gets rounded? When you hold it with your fingers, it feels like a bump, but it makes a difference when the glue comes out. The amount: I purchased the 0.63 oz tubes. My previous Gina K. glue was 0.5oz but felt fuller. This Alleen's Tacky pen feels like, it will empty soon. It could be unfair to say so early in the process. I just started using the pen 2 days ago. If Gina K were in Canada, I'd prefer that but this one doesn't come close. I probably would buy it again if the tip of the tube where just straight. This way, I keep rubbing that bulk around the tip as if I am cleaning off accumulated glue. It is a design flaw. I will look for other alternatives of what I can get from Amazon Canada.

The best glue I have ever used.

I use this glue mostly for card making. I use a lot of very detailed Spellbinders dies and the pen format allows me to place very small amounts of glue in all the fiddly places. The bond the glue makes is very very strong and sets very quickly. If I make one of the boxes using my Hougie Board I can use the box withing minutes when I use this glue on the corners. It is possilbe to glue small embellishments like buttons to my cards with very small amouts of glue. The pens last for ages as you only need to use a small amount of glue and this doesn't make the bond weaker. Today I mended my husband's watch strap with this glue it was quick and easy to use. The cap has a small pin that slots into the nozzle when it is closed and this stops the glue drying out, so it always ready to use. I have used other glues but I keep coming back to this one because it works and my card making has improved because of it.
