Lighting is directed upward so not much radial coverage.
Good light if you’re looking for an inconspicuous fixture for accent display.

Look great, but some are defective.
First the positives…these lights look amazing and they are easy to use. Now, the not so positives. 1) I have bought several packs of these and you can count on at least 10% either not working at all, not being as bright as the others, or being broken. 2) the lights only last maybe 6 hours. 3) the on/off switch is pretty glitch and sometimes you have to shake or smack the light to get it to come on. 4) I think they are a little pricy, but they do look good (the ones that work that is). I’m really torn on these, because they do look amazing, but it’s a crap shoot with each pack whether you’ll get 4 fully functional ones or 2 fully functional, 1 cracked light, and one that kind of works.

Pretty Good
These look nice in my landscaping. The lights are bright enough for me. The only issue is that all of the lights don't turn on at night. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. It's summer so they get plenty of sun. I don't understand what the issue is.

Be careful!!!
Lights are great but if you drop them on hard surfaces the stone look will easily break. Very fragile for outdoors.

Outstanding Solar Lights!!
These are the best solar lights I have ever bought. (And I’ve tried several through the years). I bought 2 boxes last year to put in front of our house and they’re still working this year! I bought 3 more sets this year to add in our back yard on our deck and on our steps going down to our pool . Extremely bright ,,you’d never know they’re solar. Our disk lights are the brightest on our block (cul de sac) in comparison to all our neighbors solar lights. Very easy to install ,the stakes took me literally 15 seconds to put together and push on the back of the light. If you are looking to purchase solar lights , you won’t be disappointed with these! . I don’t understand why others have given this product a bad review . I never post reviews when I buy something and I wanted to comment on these solar lights because they are a such a great product and I love them!! I will Always purchase these. Plus they’re such a great value, most solar lights are a lot more expensive and do not work as good. So glad I found these !

Disappointed
We have already disposed of one. The second one is also failing on us. They corrode very easily. We do not expose them to extreme weather (usually take onside). However we noticed in the description it says that it is weather resistant but it does not seem to hold true for this particular product. Glue that was used on the lens has come apart and the actual inside guts falls out and that’s why they got wet or assume they got wet inside.

Stopped working
The media could not be loaded. This is my second set. My first lasted 2 years. These are already not. Will attempt battery replacement and hope for the best. Update: the above pics show them in a months time. They did get rained on in this time. I received on September 2 and today is October 4. My others lasted two years in rain and sprinklers. Disappointed

Look like we spent a ton on outdoor lighting!
This is the third set I've purchased and for a good reason. These little disk charge even on cloudy days or as the sun moves behind the trees earlier these days and last well past midnight. Even the two that we accidently left out during the winter this year are still working well. We don't bother with the plastic stake attachments -- just placed on the ground or behind planters on tables. Easier to pick up and store over the winter. Planning to buy a few more sets. For example, the ones by the mailbox and along the drive looks so lovely and lights up our very dark cul-de-sac! Love these mighty little ones!

They don't even work!
I ordered 4 boxes of these to use around the edge of my patio. After positioning them in the sun for a day, only about half of them lit up that night, and after a few days none of them are working at all. Complete and total waste of money. I'm assuming Amazon shipped me old product with dead/dying batteries, because Bell and Howell products have a decent reputation. I am very surprised and disappointed with this purchase.

Great lights
I already bought it before at Canadian Tire and loved them, bought 8t again in Amazon because they were a bit cheaper. They look nice, they work awesome, the light last almost all night even after a cloudy day, because of the slate finish, they can be set anywhere and they look gorgeous, steps, decks, flower beds, etc
