Durable and works nicely

When mounted as shown in the picture up is off and down is on. That seems backward to me. You can rotate the switches, but it's a bit of a pain. On the plus side, I had one of these which lasted several years in very wet conditions in a small boat which was left uncovered rain and shine. It only failed after being fully submerged for hours a few times. It's not supposed to be waterproof, so I consider that very good performance. The switches feel solid and the panel looks better than the original in my little boat.

I picked up two of these panel switches to replace ...

I picked up two of these panel switches to replace Hella switch panels that were installed on a 1979 Mako 21A. I was all set to pick up the Hella's but they are 2 times as much. I only bought these because they had the same cut out as the previous switches and I didn't want to have to repair any cutouts. For new installs I would only use waterproof panel switches. That said, these BEP 900-4WP panel switches are exactly the same as the Hella switch panel. When i say exactly, I mean down to the same injection mold marks. The only thing that is different is the lack of Hella logos. They are assembled in New Zealand. The previous switch panel lasted a few decades, I'm assuming these will last a long time as well.

Easy to set up and use

Bought this to replace an existing panel for work purposes. Gets extreme use and abuse. Matches previous panel exactly. Easy to set up and use. Seems solidly built. Only time will tell if it lasts as long as my previous panel - 10 years.

Great Heavy duty product

Installed on our fast response repair boat. It gets beat on daily and works as it should. I would buy again but don't expect that it will ever need to be replaced.

Simple and Cheap

There are much fancier panels and switches out there, for sure. This, however, is exactly what I needed. It works exactly as it should, and has given me no trouble whatsoever.
