LIGHT WEIGHT AND WORKS!!

I'm a senior widow with arthritic hands that can't manage what they did years ago. My new home has a lovely deck on the back overlooking the mountains. While it was ing ood condition, I saw a few places that were starting to peal as decks do. I read up on several small cordless sanders and this seemed to fit the bill. It was easy to charge and assemble. Instructions were clear and a variety of sand paper was included. I was sanding in no time. The charge held through the hour or two I worked on the railings and would have gone longer had I needed it too. I can't say if it will work all day as I tend to work a few hours at a time. The description noted less sawdust and residue so that was appealing as well. That didn't seem to be totally accurate but the dust wasn't enough to interfere with my task. The sander worked well and was easy for me to manage so I can recommend it to those needing lighter weight tools that are effective on small jobs.

Gets the job done

The sander is great for my needs. I do small projects here and there. The sander is sturdy and I've never had an issue with it. The only complaint is the dust bag which has a massive hole in it since it rubs against any surface I'm sanding. Recommended for the price.

Make sure your battery is fully charged!

I wrote an earlier review stating this product was a disappointment, and didn't work correctly. It was my own stupidity. The device was shutting down as soon as it touched wood. It was my own mistake. I realized later the battery wasn't fully charged (I was having electrical issues). The sander works great. The on/off switch is a bit small and hard to work with gloves. But this sander is pretty good quality for the money over-all.

Makes work simple

I love this sander I have a steep roof and I had to sand my fascia I did the whole house in about an hour it’s so light and balanced I did rip the dust bag on shingle but I love the product!

Lijadora económica de batería para espacios reducidos..

Esta lijadora la compré porque tengo otras herramientas que utilizan la misma batería. La compré más por tener otra batería. Es una lijadora ligera, pequeña. Es para ocuparla en espacios reducidos y uso ligero. Las lijas que usa se pueden conseguir pero debes comprar con la misma cantidad de orificios para que pueda depositar el polvo en su bolsita. La bolsita de polvo es pequeña, un poco dura de quitar y poner. Yo al colocarla ya no la pongo hasta el fondo. Si se mantiene sujeta y es mas fácil así para quitarla y vaciar el polvo. Para uso ocasional pienso está bien. Es de una velocidad.

So far so good

This has been a seemingly long time coming. Delays were the main issue. Starting off let me say this is a nice little sander. Noise factor is not too loud & vibration on hand is very low - not noticeable. The hand feel is also very good. Now to the negatives. Initially in my whole order I had received the extra sanding pads & batteries & had ordered. For the actual sander unit, it was sent to the wrong city 3 times even though Amazon had my correct shipping address. The forth delivery attempt is when I received the unit. There were problems. Firstly the unit did not work & secondly it is as though it was used, as it was dusty. After 5th delivery the unit I received worked & had no use of wear. Only gripe of the unit would be the dust bag being a bit small. Other than that can't complain too much. Once the weather co-operates again, I will know more. During all of these issues Amazon customer support was beyond amazingly helpful. I am very grateful for their assistance.

Battery life is not good and you get only one

I would have given this five stars if the battery lasted a lot longer than half an hour of sanding. An extra battery would have been great too. It died part way through my project and I've already been waiting over 2 hours for it to charge. Not having a cord makes things easier but not having it last long enough to finish something leaves a lot to be desired. The price of purchasing a second battery is over $70!! Considering returning as I'm thinking it might be better to just deal with being tethered by a cord.

Great Value, Great Power Tools

This little mouse sander like the rest of the Black and Decker line is well worth the money. Initially I bought this and the other products in the 20V Black and Decker line simply based on the color scheme (I like the Black and Orange). Not only do they look and feel good in the hand they perform really well and are on par with lines that cost twice or more.

Good value

I like the ease that this sander works on various types of wood. I also like that there is no cord to get in the way. The battery does wear down quickly but I have a back up battery to finish the job. The sander is very light and versatile. Would highly recommend this product.
