When I broke my old carafe, I was happy to be able to replace it without having to buy a whole new French press. it's slightly more economical this way and a lot less wasteful. The item is just what I wanted. It fits perfectly into the metal frame of my press, and the filter fits snugly into the carafe.

Why Buy Imitations?

It's made exactly to manufacturer's specifications. I've tride substitutes and found them lacking. The pouring lip was different, lower. The glass felt less substantial. All in alkl I was happier with the manufacturer;s replacement carafe.

Worth it

It’s far better to replace the broken glass on my stainless steel bodum as a new one would have cost me 95$!

Reliable

Great replacement. Glass, so I know it will break eventually, but with normal use Bodum is a durable and reliable product for my Bodum French press. I tried another brand once, and not happy at all. Switched back

Worked out great!

I broke the Carafe for my French Press when washing it and this replacement worked out perfectly. I was happy not to have to replace the whole unit!

AMAZING!!

Broke my coffee carafe in the AM and had a new one in the PM without stepping into the HOT HOT sun. Got to love the speedy service. This product, dare I say, is even better than the original BODUM carafe that was gifted to me. This replacement is not as thin and delicate as the original and fits like a glove. (Oh so perfect!!!). Yes, I drink hot coffee on a hot day...don't judge :-)!!

There’s nothing like a classic bodum

I like it because it fits tightly in the coffee-pot frame and doesn’t budge when it’s turned upside down.

Wonderfully sturdy

I got this after the original beaker on my off-brand 1000 mL/8 Cup cafetière broke. It has behaved wonderfully, sliding in and out the cafetière body without issue and staying firmly in place when fitted all the way in. It’s had no loss of heat (no more than what you would normally get in a beaker anyway) and I’ve had no problems with cleaning, a quick lather&rinse or popping it in the dishwasher will do. I’ve been most impressed by it when it survived the cafetière being swung at a wall, after the table it was on was accidentally toppled over. I really did not think the poor beaker would survive, but it was the wall that suffered the most, having come out of it with a coffee stain. I thought I was done with trying to ‘kill’ my beaker, but it turns out I wasn’t, as I was dancing in my living room one day and yet again hit the table the French press was on, and down on the (carpeted) floor we go. Imagine my astonishment when the press is yet again intact, not even a crack. But all good things come to an end, as I shortly thereafter managed to topple the table over once more, and this time my Bodum beaker had enough and exited in style, breaking everywhere, shards all over the carpet. It’s had an amazingly good run though, despite its over-the-top clumsy owner, and I shall be buying it again. Maybe I’ll get a sturdier table while I’m at it too...

Perfect Replacement

I was extremely pleased to find the replacement carafe for my Bodum French Press Coffee Maker. The carafe came beautifully packed with enough cushioning to prevent damage and breakage. It fits well and is the exact same size as I wanted.

Terrific, Bodum is one of the best

Oh I am so accident prone and have broken my beaker of of my Bodum french press. Mind you the shatterproof one. Go figure. This is true to size and fits perfectly in my press. A great company, and great products. Thank you so much
