I am writing this review because of what I pleasantly received when I purchased this item. Only a few people out of hundred's will even care or read this review, but here goes . . . Are you installing a tankless water heater or other high BTU unit? If you are, this is the right choice for a flex line, if your city code requires one. This is a true 3/4" ID and that is what is required and needed for the correct hook up. If you go to the local hardware store or home centers, their 3/4" flex will have a 5/8" ID. If you are concerned why, it's because of the large demand of gas volume when this unit operates. It needs the larger 3/4" ID to make these tankless water heaters operate correctly. For some areas rigid pipe will meet code, not where I installed mine. My local big city plumbing supply had to order this special flex line and said it would take a few days. I bought this here at Amazon and got it in two days, at the door. Perfect Brass Craft is the best, if you're concerned

Save money and do it your self

I wish I would have purchased the next size longer. Installation would have been easier. The couplings are very secure. Be sure to read and understand the installation directions. (No pipe dope on the compression fittings). Have the local gas company check for leaks and your good to go.

Biggest one I could find

I got one of these to supply gas to my tankless water heater. It goes right on without issue, 24" long and inside diameter of 3/4". I could not find one in any hardware store so I ordered it on here. Super slow shipping but luckily I had a 5/8" hose to hold out until this one got here. The heater is 150,000 BTU and doesn't miss a beat with this hose.

You cannot find these as easily at your bigbox stores

This is the correct item if you are hunting for a high BTU use application, on a 3/4" connector. Other pipes are only 7/16" internal OD. This one is 3/4", meant for applications around 200kBTU throughput. You cannot find these as easily at your bigbox stores, without going on online. Item Comes without packaging.

Adding to my mobile home with the earthquake seismic shutoff valve,better than the other one I took off,most times it's not a good thing to reuse the old one...very safe than sorry!!!!

Perfect line for tankless Gas Water Heaters

I needed a 3/4 inch Natural Gas supply line so that I could install my new Rheem Tankless Water Heater. This flex hose was the perfect length and diameter. It worked perfectly for my application. I installed the water heater in early March and have had no issues with it or this supply line since.

I got it for my tankless water heater install (Rheem RTGH-84XLN). This was the exact gas connector I needed. Came with the right 3/4" pipe thread connectors. Was even packed/shipped in a large box to keep it with as few curves as possible.
