Nice looking lightweight shirt

I've been a fan of this brand for many years and expect any clothing item with their label to be a quality choice. And I think that's true of this shirt as well. It's the first shirt like this that I've gotten that says that it is designed to be worn untucked. Seems to just mean it has a shorter and more squared off tail than most other shirts. I do like that design as I often like to wear casual shirts untucked and this one will look better than my others. It also looks good because it has a classic check design that is classic and appealing, I think. The feel is light and comfortable. There are two things I'd mention about this shirt that are not ideal for me. It's a cotton shirt and that's not surprising given the brand and tradition. But fabrics have advanced so much over the years that there are other choices that are equally comfortable, more durable and stretchy, more stain resistant and which launder easier without wrinkling or requiring ironing or special care. The other thing is that it's not a great value, in my opinion. I guess if you have an established brand name you can command more, but at some point it's out of line. I'm still happy to have this shirt, but I'd be happier with it if it had been made of a more modern, higher performing fabric.

Fit is great, material is good

Let me say, I'm a fan of Brooks Brothers, I've had suits and shirts from them that were top notch quality and style. This is a great fit, I love the style and find it flattering. However the material seems just OK- for the price I was expecting something that felt a little more premium. The quality isn't BAD, it's still a great shirt, but I expected a little more from this brand at this price I guess.

Sharp, relaxed look and looks great even in XXL size

The “white” version, which has a large blue check appearance with some red and a little yellow looks wonderful and just like the product page photos. The XX-Large version fits just as expected if not a little larger than typical XXL shirts, but always make sure to check the product image with sizing information. While the bottom is cut similar to a dress shirt where you would traditionally tuck it in, this is not as long so you can easily wear it untucked. It is made of 100% cotton and is very light. The collar is held down by a button so no need for a collar stay. It will be great for a summer Friday at work. The light material will allow you to easily roll up the sleeves. The shirt comes folded up with a tissue paper given this an elevated appearance if offering it as a gift. In short, if you like the look of the shirt, I don’t think you can go wrong with it.

Brooks Brothers did it right!

The shirt feels good and falls just right. I’m usually between an XL and XXL and this fits perfectly. It’s way better feeling than the other shirts that I own of the same type. I would recommend this shirt and company since they have never done me wrong

Brooks Bros. quality, with the attendant price

I've worn BB's for years in my formal life as an office drone, and alas, so sad, I no longer have to buzz about the water cooler in my BB shirts and my AE shoes. Now, it's PJs baby. Sound like you? Well, maybe you'd like this shirt too. It's pre-washed, has a nice softish feel to it, and is casual enough to wear untucked in, which is perhaps its best quality. Maybe you should buy this and wear it, as it would allow you a faint remembrance of the office days of yore, but without actually having to travel to the office to experience said days. Additionally, it will look good during a walk in the park, a trip to Curaçao, or hanging at the bar where you'll undoubtedly be drinking an old fashioned with proper muddling. Yes, like the model on the product page, who is going to be tucking in shirts in mid- to latter half of the 21st century, anyway? Not I. Oh, and the stitching is quite nice.

Any day of the week shirt

Very nice shirt. Brooks Brothers calls this a Friday shirt. In our post-Covid world where dress codes have loosened up and especially out here in the mountain west where Business Casual can include nice jeans and a polo, this is an every day shirt. Fabric is comfortable. Fit is a bit loose, but designed to be that way. Definite Brooks Brothers quality throughout. My Friday shirts are Aloha shirts--this will be Saturday at a sit-down restaurant or Thursday night with clients shirt.

A comfortable and sophisticated looking shirt

This is a really handsome looking shirt. It is made out of soft cotton and has a uniquely shaped button down collar. I like the fit, I am sized medium and it fits perfect. It isn't baggy under the arms or too loose around the chest. It is quite versatile and can worn as a stand alone shirt or under a blazer with a tie. Overall a well made, quality long sleeve button-down.
