Nice Decorative Addition

I've always wanted one of these, I bought 1 for myself and one for a friend. the fragrance is very mild, almost unnoticeable. I had a little trouble getting the candle in the holder, you just need to be gentle. The only thing that I didn't realize is that every 25 minutes or so, as the candle burns down, you have to unclip the holder & advance more candle to burn. I was thinking that as it burned down, the candle would unwind itself & that the "clip" that holds it on place was a little looser allowing the candle to move on its own.

Fun to look at but not economical to burn

The candle came well packaged. There is no set-up although coaxing the wax to get started takes some patience. The wax would probably be more cooperative in a warmer room. I liked everything about the engineering the went into the holder, but the candle only burns for around 20 min before the wax needs to be advanced. It costs $25 to replace the wax, so I see ourselves leaving the candle out for ohhs and ahhs, but burning it only to demonstrate how it works (which few people ask to see). Nice gift out of the box but not very useful. I see it going to the thrift store after a few years.

Pretty

I didn't buy this candle for its scent, so the fact that it doesn't have much is fine. I did like the coil design but have found that it is difficult to unwind the next inch. The candle wax splits. It may be because it is winter, and the air is not hot enough to keep the was flexible. We will see how it does in the summer.

A little disappointed

We ordered the horizontal model but they sent a vertical model. It is still a unique candle. The top portion of the candle was broken causing us to have to cut off several inches. We got it set up and it only burned for a few minutes before going out, so I suppose it will be purely decorative and not functional.

Wonderful practical decor!

A modern take on a historical parlor fixture. Beeswax candle burns clean and very lightly sweet scent. Built-in safety design extinguishes burning ????️ candle when it reaches clamp/collar. Order a refill, everyone loves it! ❤️

Refill candle has no scent at all. Very disappointing.

It’s says it has a honey scent (like the original one that came with candle holder but it does not. Very disappointing as the first one was very strong and pleasant. Will try a different brand that will have the honey scent. I bought different candle stand styles and hope the other ones have the true honey scent. This refill was very disappointing.

It’s a great gift to give and receive, but a little less practical for daily use

I was super excited about this splurge! And how giftable it is to others in the future!. But then once I actually started to use it the disappointments began to grow. While it’s a great feature that the candle wick only last 20 minutes (a very great safety feature) there’s rarely a time that I personally only want to candle lit for 20 minutes. Then I realize that the more use I have in this candle the less appealing the set up looks as the candle wax moves off of the role exposing the brass and less appealing of a look. And while the scent is an actually a bad scent, the natural beeswax scent with the 20 minute burn time per piece doesn’t elevate D sensory experience for me personally, but Many may love that sent It’s a great gift and there’s a lot of good for what it is, but I do wish that I didn’t end up making this purchase in the end.

Very cool looking candle!

I really like this candle because it looks very well engineered. Even my engineer husband liked it! It snuffs itself out when it reaches the clamp just as the description said. As with any candle that is lit, I would advise, do not leave it unattended. I decided to time the length of candle, it takes "about" 25 minutes to burn 1 inch of candle. Nice if you just want a gentle light in the background for a short period. Very well-made, I even dropped it by accident and nothing broke ????. I'm very clumsy ????.

The most over priced item I have purchased in years!

Very cute and such a unique idea for a candle. But seriously this is the most over priced item I have purchased in years! This candle is so small that I am actually mad at myself for buying and not heeding the warnings of other reviewers. I used a pen a coaster set for comparison of size. As you can see my coasters for glasses is almost the same size. So it is like buying a small pillar candle for $36.00 :(

Beautiful but let down

Appearance wise I love it, but the candle burns way to fast which is sad to me as I do not feel like it would last 48 hours and very expensive to burn away that fast. Jar candles don't seem to burn off that fast and costs are much lower. The refills are super expensive almost same amount as purchasing a whole new one. So I was somewhat disappointed.
