Exactly what I needed.

Plumber left the stub out from the shower sticking too far out of the wall. He left a skinny flange on it and I didn't realize it didn't fit until after he'd left. Should've called him back, but I didn't want to deal with it. This Delta flange was just what I needed to cover up the pipe and it looks nice. I looked at at least 2 of the big box home improvement stores, but neither had what I needed. I thought it was a bit pricey (considering it's just a small piece of metal) but it was worth it because it did the trick.

Did the job!

This item def helped solve our solution. We needed a flange to cover up extra piping (first time homeowners/total re-do of old house) and the one that came with the manufacturer didn’t have the “height” to cover up our shower pipe. Although it’s chrome vs. “brushed nickel” (which is my only gripe but not a big enough deal to not get the rating I gave), at this point all of our little “touch ups” or “we’ll fix-it-later(s)” is now just a “Meh, it adds character”. Its not a huge eye sore for us and was exactly what we needed. Definitely recommend for anyone who has the same issue and needs a flange that is taller/more coverage to cover more “character-fixes”.

Perfect fit, perfect stainless steel finish, 3" diameter, solidly made

I have the Lahara Monitor 14 Series in stainless steel fixtures by Delta installed throughout my home. The shower escutcheon that comes with that series is 2.5" diameter. For some reason the tile installers cut a square hole in the wall tile for the shower head arm. Why not a round hole??? Anyway, of course they over-cut all 4 corners one of which was highly visible with the 2.5" escutcheon. This Victorian series, at 3" diameter, was a perfect fit to cover the damaged tile. It fit over the 1/2 stainless steel pipe nicely and the brushed stainless steel finish was an exact match for the Lahara fixture. While the style is different it still blends in nicely. My wife has yet to notice the change. Yes I agree it is a bit pricey but sometimes you have to pay a bit more for quality.

Well made

I wanted to "fancy up" the two new shower arms I bought from Moen for my renovated master bath. This flange is solid metal and the chrome finish is smooth and lustrous, just like my expensive Moen fittings. When I slid the flange onto my shower arm, it was a perfect fit, but there was no set screw or anything like that to keep it in place. So I got my reading glasses and discovered that inside the opening is a ring of little "teeth" (I'm sure that there is a more correct name for this, but I don't know what it is). With a small straight screwdriver, I was able to bend four of the teeth inwards just a little bit to create a really nice friction fit, but not so tight that the teeth would scratch the finish on the shower arm. Then I was able to slide the flange into place and have it stay right where I wanted it. One of the two flanges is upside-down on the shower arm coming down thru the ceiling for my "rain" head, and it's nice and snug. My only suggestion, though, is that it's probably hard to bend the teeth back again if you bend them too much, so start with just a tiny amount of bending, check the fit, then bend some more only if you need to.

Larger than a normal flange, works great!

I had a new tile shower installed to replace a fiberglass enclosure that had a leak. The one installers were great with one exception, they left the shower head hole larger than my original flange was. I thought about patching the hole and then having to paint it....but on a whim I looked to see if I could find a larger flange. This one is about an inch wider than the commonly used ones. Plus it's prettier! Great buy for the price and just had to unscrew the shower head to install. Awesome.

A bit of a "mound," but fit the bill for a miscut shower arm hole

Our contractor cut the hole just slightly too large (by cutting a square, rather than drilling a hole) for the shower arm, so the standard flange that was sent with our Delta Windemere Oil Rubbed Bronze Shower kit left all the corners visible. I tried several options and this one managed to cover those corners perfectly. By the way, this item is much cheaper than purchasing directly from Delta's website!!! Unless someone is really closely critiquing your shower fixtures, the fact that this is a Venetian Bronze v. an Oil Rubbed Bronze isn't a blaringly obvious problem. Overall, I am happy with the fact that we no longer have gaps showing, but I gave this a 4 star because I would have loved to have found a less obtrusive flange to have done the job and the square flanges I tried were also too small. There simply were no other viable options given my time constraints. If you don't mind the fact that it is a large mound rather than being more flat, then this will be a 5 star for you.

Looks great, easy to install

I got this larger flange to cover up a bit of grout where I had cut away too much tile. It works perfectly and was super easy to install. I was a bit hesitant.... when sliding it over the shower arm, it was a very tight fit and I concerned about it scratching the finish, but it did not! It's snug against the wall and everything looks fantastic!
