Great rip guide
This rip guide is more accurate than the standard flimsy T-style ones I have used before. It is more stable and accurate because it has two attachments to the saw rather than just one.

Good not Great
Well this baby is a good piece of equipment to have for your DeWalt Worm -Style or Sidewinder Saw (dcs577 or 578 among others I believe) ....If you didn’t make herself one of dem makeshift tracks for a circ Saw...and even if you did, it’s still useful and good to have around. However it did prove itself a wee bit cumbersome at first to my taste, the whole setting it up and limitations involved. It’s max stretch is great for ripping , not so much for cross cuttin large 4’ boards in half...but hey it IS a rip guide/fence so it definitely does what it says. Like others have said the quality is of the ok/good/not great/could-be-better-but-let’s-not-cause-it’ll-bump-up-the-price kind. All in all though I would recommend it for anyone who has an excellent DeWalt Beast and wants to put her to some accurate but fast slicing action.

Best circular saw fence on the market. Has a few issues though...
Probably the best axillary fence you can get for your wormdrive dewalt saw. There's around 6 inches of fence that rides ahead of the saw that makes cutting sheet goods SOOOO easy and accurate. The measurements on mine are about a 1/4 shy of the real cut. But the measurements are VITAL to squaring your cut. Also you can't slide the guide flush with the shoe on the saw because of the lip that the guide has that the shoe can slide in. The smaller cut you can make on sheet goods is about 1 1/4". All in all pretty awesome but could've had some more R&D before bringing to market...

Excellent.
This rip guide really works. If you've only used the single arm design, you'll be very pleased with how easy it is to keep this one on track. It folds compactly. My only suggestion would be to make it sturdier. The aluminum seems a little flimsy. After a year of steady use, I can say that my initial concerns were well-founded. The aluminum arms have been bent this way and that from stress. If you're doing repeated rip cuts on site, you can't help but sit the tool down while mounted on the saw, and this put stress on it, not to mention that it is now a large object that will invariably be stepped on, tripped over etc. Anyway, it's still a fine addition to the toolbox, and in many instances easier than pulling out the table saw. I'll buy another and try to be more careful with it, as I doubt that Dewalt will be brining out a steel or magnesium version.

Works well until the fragile aluminum arms bend!!!
I am building a house and use this often with my DCS577B. I had to rip plywood down into furring strips and it worked great on round one of cutting. Apply pressure to the guide fence in front of the cut of your saw blade and you will get a near perfect straight cut. This does take a little practice and feel from my experience but once you get it right the cuts go quickly. The problem lies in the first time the guide gets bumped or dropped while attached to the saw. The moment this happens your guide, which relies on semi-precise measurements, is now totally bent. The two guides that attach to the shoe of the circular saw bend extremely easily. Far too easily for a tool used on mobile construction tools. I have managed to straighten mine somewhat, but it does not work nearly as well as when it was new. I know, be careful, but if you are working daily with this eventually it will be dropped, bumped, and subsequently bent. It is not robust enough for a tool of this type in my opinion. Maybe less pliable metal arms would be the solution?

Almost like a table saw
Cuts almost as straight as a table saw! I've used it quite a bit ripping 2x4's and cutting plywood. You have to make sure you keep the side pressure you apply to the front of the guide is in front of where your blade is cutting our it will bind. The arms are aluminum and I can see how people accidentally bend them, but with a little caution I haven't had a problem. The measurements on the arms are precise and easy to use and adjust. It's a little spendy for what it is, but it does come in handy. Overall I think this is a great accessory to have for the DeWalt circular saw.

Works good, i had to make a tiny tweak though
Works good, i had to make a tiny tweak though. When i installed it the fence was off by about a degree or two. The fence was not true to the saw base and i had to adjust the bars slightly to get them to true it up. To be expected i would think since its marketed as a folding fence. One of the folding arms locks in place and can't be out plumb but the other in order to fold down it needs to be slid down a channel and then folded in, and that's the one bar that pulled the fence out of parallel. I adjusted the hardware to snug it up a little. Worked great as is but just to be a stickler i made it perfect.

Dewalt Fantastic Do it again.
Absolutely fantastic miles better then the old T Guide, it’s solid and allows your blade to leave the sheet material before the guide leaves the material which helps with your cut & blade.

... not necessarily needed, not o good quality , very flamzy
This is a addition to my Dewalt DCS577 ,because that the way for dewalt to make more money from the fidelit clients. Is not very good because started breaking very soon. I pay to much for this, should be included on the circular box . This is my way to pay because I am stupid and I go for dewalt ,because everything from them start to break.

Not happy with this purchase!
No Nuts with item purchased and had to reset the 90 degree right angle by un-screwing and grinding off enough to reset the angle. Had to find the right threaded nuts myself as they could not send any!

Low quality, came damaged
Came damaged out of the box, poorly made, joint is very week. Unfortunately low quality, material is very soft foya rip guide. The one I received was useless due to damaged base and out of square shoulders Reason could be in transport or manufacturing, however box wasn't damaged, I guess it's a bad quality control I never got to use it because it came on pieces, and besides that it was twisted. I'm disappointed with the item
