Used for a z wave temp sensor
Worked as it should. Setup was fairly straightforward. You need a power supply, I used an old charger. I soldered all the wires, but you could use crimps I suppose if you don’t want to solder. Works like a champ with the temp probe in my chest freezer.

occasionally locks up
these mostly work but there have been a few occasions where the temperature measurement locks up (stops changing) for a long time. Additionally, on one occasion, a command to turn one of the switches off was not honored.

Homeseer integration disappointing
I purchased this to use with a Homeseer HS4 controller. Full disclosure, I am a bit of a novice with Homeseer however I have used several other z-wave devices and had no trouble including the new devices into the controller, acessing features and incorporating in events. I was able to get the Implant included in the controller. The output switches work fine. The internal temperature device works as well but since the device does generate a little bit of heat, the temp is higher that the actual ambient so not particularily useful. I did not hook up any external temperature sensors. The feature for which I mostly bought the device for was the binary inputs. I was not able to get either of these two input features to work. I was able to set the configurables for the various modes of these inputs but still no success. There is a lot written about the challenges of getting these devices to work in the Homeseer community. It looks like some have figured it out but it was beyond my patience. I purchased a couple of the basic z-wave window sensors and was able to achieve my goal in a few minutes, albeit with more cost and a battery vs plugin device. The Implant is a really cool device and unique in the market. Unfortunately not a successful experience with the Homeseer HS4 controller.

Perfect for Converting a Contact State change to Z-wave
These little gems are great for converting contact status change into a z-wave signal. I have a very nice home security system but has been pretty much worthless since I got rid of the phone line as no one is notified if it goes off. I used the 12vdc in the security panel to power the fibaro and wired it to monitor an alarm contact. I then programed into my zwave system and now if my security system goes off I get a text. Works great. Strongly recommend!

This thing is a confusing mess
I had high hopes for this tiny little dude but my hopes were dashed. All I want to do is connect this device’s two inputs to two dry contact relays and get those statuses into my HS4 HomeSeer system. This is not possible as far as I can tell. I am not done working to make this happen but so far it is anything but simple. This is by far the most complex and deeply featured Z-Wave device I have ever attempted to use. I can’t even get it to include properly into HS4. If I get it to work I will change my rating here. But let me be clear, I am talking about how it integrates to HS4 only. I saw videos of this device integrating into HomeAssistant and Fibaro’s own system and it was quick, easy, and powerful.

Doesn't fully work with HS3
So far was only able to access the internal temp sensor and 1 of the outputs, using my Homeseer HS3 setup. Could not figure out how to access the 2nd output. I assume commercial drivers for other hubs would have the appropriate driver. The temperature offset between air temperature and the internal sensor is not constant - varies += 2F. So not very useful. Device is very small, but something with headers that could go into breadboard would be more useful. Can't use as-is in my garage opener since the only DC voltage is 5V. 9V is too high and may not be readily available.

Too complicated. If you are highly competent, go for it.
I am sure it is a fine product. Seems as advertised. Too complicated to get it to work for me. If you are highly technically inclined, go for it. Otherwise avoid. I have a variety of smart products I use on the SmartThings network successfully so am not totally clueless, but found this a stretch.

Works fine if you just need the relays
The relay outputs work OK, both directly via hardware switches and also with my Domoticz Controller. So its OK for garage door control or anywhere low-voltage signal switching is needed. No configuration available for Temp/Humidity sensor inputs, at least in OpenZWave. Tiny postage-stamp sized device that will fit almost anywhere. Needs an external dc power supply, min 9volts. It ended up switching a GPIO line in a Raspberry Pi for remote power control, and for reporting the Raspberry's power status. Just have to add that the "Relay" contacts are rated at 30 volts max, they are NOT intended for mains power switching.

Compatibilité SmartThings compliqué
Prévu utiliser avec Smartthings, pas réussi a activer toutes les fonctionnalités ne détectait que les entrées. malheureusement trop compliqué pour ce que je voulais en faire, retourné.

Flakey
Not a good buy for the price. Have 2 and they are not reliable, some times the switch, some times not. No good for my application, I need some reliability, these just do not have it. Tried on 2 different hubs, both had issues with reliability.
