PURRFECTION

I have three paper cutters. This is the one I grab first. Although it's petite, it's easy to cut paper in half to fit and then continue cutting. It's precise. There is a bit of a paper placement learning curve. I have some paper with high cotton content. My other paper cutters get jammed on the lint. Not this one.

Does not hold up

It is good as far as cuttings goes for a couple of pieces of Paper. 3 pieces is the max though. The feature i did like about it, is the cutter is removeable, so you do not have to buy a complete set at a time/ You just need to buy the replacement cutter. HOWEVER that is my biggest complaint - the cutter replac ment wears thin and keeps falling out of the holder

Works better when you take film off

This cutter is sharp and I can cut slightly larger items without having to go to my full size cutter. At first it was slightly off but I was determined to fix it so I didn't have to send it back. I put a piece of packing tape on to hold something and when I removed it, it pulled the film off that I didn't even know was on it, (like when you get a new cell phone and they have the plastic film on it to protect the glass). After that it cut perfectly straight, new issue was I couldn't slide the paper on it, I don't know if it was static or what but I took a micro fiber cloth and sprayed it with tech cleaner and wiped it down, it's great now.

Cuts well and a good size for small jobs

It's easy to store, the blade is sharp, and it cuts straight as long as you press the clear plastic clamp to hold the paper in place. The grid and cutting edge on mine are aligned correctly, though I wish it were a half inch wider (the grid stops at 5") so you could cut 8.5 x 11" paper in half accurately. I use it more than my full size 12" rotary trimmer (larger than needed for many jobs) and my 6" bypass trimmer (nice but often too small). There's no blade guard, so I strap it with a silicone Grifiti band when it's put away. The big ball-type feet on the corners enable it to be stored on edge.

Great for desktop and small cutting

I keep it on my desk for cutting small sized items of paper and card stock. I just wished it was a little longer.

Very sharp and totally reliable

The trimmer is really sharp and sturdy. I have the bigger trimmer also but this fits beautifully on my craft table for all small projects. Would recommend it to everyone.

Good small paper cutter

Needed a small paper cutter for my DIY wedding invitations and this fit the bill. Once you get used to lining up the paper properly and holding it down firmly, it makes great straight line cuts. We now use it to occasionally trim down some photos with a commercial photo printer we happen to have. Works well.

Love this paper trimmer

Love this paper trimmer. Portable and makes great, crisp cuts, even if you're trimming just a millimeter off of a piece of paper! As long as you press down on the plastic holder thing, the cuts will be precise and the paper won't move. The only thing I really wish is that the arm which the blade is on could be secured somehow. I make do with an elastic band to keep the arm down and the blade out of harm's way... so it's not TOO bad.
