Easy install

In both my upstairs and downstairs bathroom I would have to hold the handle down for a bit to flush the toilet and it would take forever for the toilet to refill and when it finally did the water level was still low. Turns out the fill valves were old and worn and water was coming through it very slowly. I'm not a handy person at all but was easily able to install both. Now both toilets have nice full flushes with the press of the handle (no more holding the toilet handle down for whole duration of the flush) and the water level in the toilet bowl is at a normal level instead of very low. Ended up not needing to replace the flappers however I now have the parts should I ever need to.

Surprisingly easy to install

I purchased this product largely based on its collective rating on Amazon as a replacement for the very old "ball and rod" system in my toilet. Combined with some tutorials on YouTube, the installation instructions were very clear and the entire process didn't take more than 30mins. Once installed, this product takes up so much less space in the tank and looks much more tidy than the old system. While I expect this to last a long time and I may not ever need to purchase it again, I can easily recommend it to anyone looking to replace this part in their toilet tank.

Works as expected

No major issues. Waterflow to the toilet tank is slower with this fill valve versus my original unit.

Works perfectly

This flush valve replaced the worn out one in my toilet. It was easy to install. Adjusting the water level sensor was a bit difficult but I was able to do it with some trial and error. Not too bad for never having done anything like this before. The toilet flushes perfectly and it does not leak or run.

Easy to install. Low quality parts. Works fine.

Just like most of the reviews, this product is fine and does the job. A quick fix but not a permanent replacement for quality toilet parts. Easy to install but feels like it will leak very soon. I keep a drip bin under my toilet at all times now. Great price for what you get.

Worked perfectly

Our toilet was running slightly and rather than but a whole new one, I thought I'd try this first. We have an American Standard. This came with installation instructions that worked great. It took maybe 20 minutes and we haven't had any issues since. I did not install the flapper add the old one worked fine.

This unit fits almost all toilets. It is about a 30 minute install and works great. Much better idea than calling a plumber or buying a new toilet. If you have a problem flushing your toilet, this will solve that problem.

Super Easy - NO MORE PHANTOM FLUSHES

After googling how to repair a phantom flush, I purchased the Fluidmaster 400CR determined to fix it on my own, as I had called in a plumber about a year back and he charged me close to $400 for what I believe I just did for $26.00. It was super easy to install, there are a multitude of videos on installing this exact model, so that was super helpful and I was super proud of myself that I installed it properly on the first attempt. Once installed, I immediately noticed the difference, the flush was quieter, quicker and NO MORE PHANTOM FLUSHES. I would totally recommend!!
