Better option then the wood ones

We had the wooden box with a handle and the moisture in the grass eventually made it fall apart and that why we purchased this plastic one. I just wish it had some kind of carrying handle

Looked at every single washers game on Amazon and this was my choice

I bought this as a gift and wanted a nice one. I read all the reviews of ever single washer game I could find. The number one complaint on all the games, even the expensive ones is that the wood gets horribly dinged up from game play. Also the latches that hold the halves together on the wooden models fail often. My friend has a wooden one and it has both these problems. The latches feel cheap and and the wood finish is scratched off all over the place. This plastic modeldoesnt have these problems. The plastic is kind of flimsy but it doesn't really matter. It's very light weight and compact, it folds together much smaller than the wooden ones. The washers are very nice. They are metal coated in some sort of polymer. They sort of feel like poker chips and have a nice grip. Only problem is it only comes with 6 washers and there is no room for more. My biggest complaint is the cups in the center have no bottom so when you land in the cup you have to pick the game up to retrieve the washers.

This is a nice set for the price, only issues are the washers bounce out easily. I bough for a child and makes the game impossible to score points, will be adding something in tray. Also second issue was the container that holds the washers, it's like trying to installed bulb in headlights but the bulb doesn't fit so your just smashing it in and hoping it catches without you breaking anything. The holder is a tight fit once washer are in it. Other then that decent game

Tailgate Entertainment

Bought this game to help entertain my 4 to 7 year old granddaughters while tailgating at a football game. It held their attention for a while and then moved on to sidewalk chalk. It is easy to assemble and pack. I especially like the convenient storage for the washers built into the game. My husband dressed it up with our football team's decals. I gave it four instead of five stars because the square occasionally moved when a washer hit it at a certain angle. Not a problem when using with children, but might be a problem for die-hard players.

Hard to close, light weight.

The washers will not close in the holder because they bent after the first use in the sand.

Worst consumer service ever!

Worst consumer service ever! I bought a ball to throw it in a group on the water. A seam broke after 3 uses during a trip to the Caribbean. I did not bring it back in my luggage. Franklin wants a bill that I do not have, because for a $ 10 ball I do not keep it. And a photo that I do not have, since I threw the ball in the garbage. Franklin does not want to honor the guarantee of a $ 10 item. Tip: Buy with another company.
