UK cup sizing! Back strap is not adjustable.

For reference, I’m 40 and breastfed two kiddos (time, gravity, and repeated rapid weight gain/loss are not “the girls’” best friend, as you all know). With that in mind, I’m normally between US 34F and 34G (closer to G) in full coverage and minimizer bras (Bali, Wacoal, Delimira, Olga, etc.). I ordered this top in 34F based on the information available in the listing (Note: the listing doesn’t specify whether you’re ordering based on US or UK sizing nor provides a size correlation table). The photo shows what I received: a plastic bag labeled 34F, and a top in UK 34F/US 34G. So, the sizing must be in UK cup sizes; please choose yours accordingly. While my boobs did fit into the cups just fine and, dare I say, with even a pinch of room to spare (making it far too full of a coverage for my liking), the back band felt quite loose and more like a 36 than a 34. The band is also elastic and stretches quite a bit to accommodate an even larger circumference underbust and there’s no option to adjust for a tighter fit. All of this in combination made it look and feel like the top was just sort of hanging out there rather than holding and supporting goods in place. It also sort of pushed the girls together a bit into a uniboobish look, which was anything but flattering. Bummer. From experience, swim suit fabrics stretch when wet, and with this band being somewhat loose fitting already, I’m looking at a very real possibility of catastrophic bottom spillage with the way this particular top fits. No thanks. Going to exchange it for a 32E and see what happens. In theory, it should fit nice and snug like a proper US 34F. However, it being a halter and all, I’m not so sure that it will actually be comfortable to wear for extended periods of time due to putting so much weight and strain on the base of the neck via the halter strap. It’s a cute pretty basic top though. Might end up making alterations to use the halter straps as criss-cross back ties instead though if there’s enough fabric. Will update once the other size gets here.

Perfect fits.

It fits perfectly. Very nice bikini perfect holding without underwiring. I am excited. It came sooner than expected.
