Wait, what’s the torque?
As usual, this torque wrench is dual unit. In this case IN-LB and N-m. One of the scales is wrong. For example, 70 IN-LB equals 7.9 N-m. Look at the pictures of the two scales at the same adjustment point. The wrench says 70 IN-LB equals, well, I’m not sure. The main scale is right at 9.04 N-m (wrong) but the secondary scales says to add 1.13 N-m (wronger). In this case I could subtract 1.13 to get the correct value, but that’s not what it is telling me. The main scale needs to be right between the 9.04 and 6.78 below it. Then I could add 6.78 + 1.13 and be correct. All assuming that the IN-LB scale is correct. Which I could do, since the certificate of calibration is in IN-LB. But this is my second wrench with the exact same problem and the exact same computer printed certificate of calibration. So I’m not believing either. Too bad because the low profile head, 120 clicks per rotation, and easy to read force values are all nice. But if you can’t trust the torque setting, all the good is for nothing. And at $170, this is a massive fail. Plus Zero stars for Amazon sending me a dirty used replacement to return.

C. Wimer is right.
C. Wimer is correct about the nm scale on this wrench being off. Mine was exactly the same. I returned it for that reason, and also because the form fitting case does not allow the wrench to be stored at its lowest setting. The wrench is still usable. If you use the in-lbs scale it works as normal. The nm scale actually works too, as long as you understand the misalignment and account for it.

The above reviewer can't read a micrometer scale.
The torque is set 80 in-lbf in C. Wimer's review pics, which is 9.04 N-m. Turns out when you have the wrench set correctly, the conversion is fine.

They don't know how to read a torque wrench
9.04 Nm is equivalent to 80 inch/lbs which is exactly what the pictures show in his review.
