Love this popper!

Just received the Greenlife popper today and made 2 batches of popcorn from 2 different brands. Very few unpopped kernels either time. Very happy with this popper.

Not broken. Turns itself off after first popping so it doesn't overheat. Works great.

As advertized

Makes a good large bowl of popcorn within 10-15 minutes. Have used it several times since I got it 2 weeks ago. Never more than a couple of kernels left in the machine, or none at all.

Finally a well designed hot air popper

I have discovered that there are two basic designs and only one works well. It has to do with how the hot air blows in. The good ones, like this, blow in from the bottom center. Kernels well up in the middle of the pile and slide down at the edges. They all stay down in the popper and when they pop there are others on top to keep them from flying out. The bad design blows air in from slots in the side causing cyclonic movement. The kernels climb up the side and when they pop they often fly out onto the counter and/or propel unpopped kernels out. The instructions say to wait 15 minutes between batches. I don't and it works just fine. I make it a point to be there the whole time and to turn it off immediately just to be sure.

Good for 2+ only

Works well when full. I was hoping to make single serving size to replace the somewhat unhealthy microwave popcorn. But it doesn't work well for single (3 cup +/-) serving. The air just pushes all the kernels out with the popped corn. But when full, there are enough popped kernels to block the unpopped ones from blasting through so most of them get popped. So fill 'er up & gather your friends & family or be prepared to eat a whole lot of popcorn :)
