Not new

I like everything about it cept it's not new. As you can see there has been rust developing and there is a dent. I'm guessing it was a return, or sitting around out in the elements.

Stainless steel

Replaced what we had in our Travato RV. The rust was driving me crazy at the bathroom sink. Problem solved.

Can NOT safely be cut to "different sizes"

These are 2 decent hinges at a very decent price. I bought them based on "Can be cut to accommodate different sizes" and "Fixed pin is non-removable for security." First of all, the pin is simply NOT fixed in position. If you used the entire 12" hinge as is it probably wouldn't move much under typical use, but I bought these knowing in advance that I needed to cut them to make some shorter sections. Unfortunately, at the shorter (4.5") length, the already NON-FIXED pin moves that more easily, which would make it unreliable for my purposes (especially since the hinge will be mounted vertical instead of horizontal). It is cheap enough that I'm not going to try to argue with the seller about returning a product that I have already cut with a hack saw. Cheap or not, however, I wasted my time and money, because this hinge is simply not as described in the product info on Amazon. (Also, in my opinion, the sheet metal is a bit on the thinner side. The seller does not list thickness at all.)
