Finally something that takes her awhile!

Every chew or treat or toy we buy - our Sheltie tears through it in seconds. This is the first toy that took her hours to get through to the treats. Love it!

Keeps my puppy busy for about 5 minutes at a time

The media could not be loaded. Not interested at first until I discovered a trick... I have a 4 months and 2 weeks old morkie puppy who is very active and teething. I filled it up with Milkbone puppy treats which were broken in half because the treat cavities of this toy is small. She initially was not interested in it. So I put so a small amount of natural organic peanut butter (make sure your puppy is not allergic to nuts. Spreading wet dog food on it should work too) around the rim of the colored bubble cavities. Voila, that did the trick! She was instantly attracted to this toy. But she only played with it for about 5 mins in which she licked all the peanut butter and ate all the treats inside. Then she lost interest and moved on to her other toys. This toy was mentioned on the AKC website so that is why I purchased it. It is a good value for it’s price point. Is it a must have? I would say no. But it is a fun to have for my puppy 5 minutes at a time as you see in the video. Haha ;) But I will let my puppy play with it only under supervision as the cavities are made from semi-soft plastic (as other reviewers cautioned). I can see that she might be able to chew off pieces once she gets older.

Dog chewed through

At first it was great and kept my dog entertained. Took him a bit to get the treats out but once he started focusing he preferred it as a chew toy and it took no time to chew through the rubber pieces.

My dog's favorite toy!

I originally got this from AKC as part of the puppy package when I registered my Border Collie puppy. She loved it to pieces & it lasted her until she was about 10 or 11 months old. I replaced it at Amazon because I couldn't find it anywhere else. I hope that you continue to sell these, so I can keep her happy! The bone part is very hard, kind of like a nylabone. My girl is a strong chewer, so that's important to me. It has soft, silicone like, knobby balls at the middle, that you fill with treats. It functions like a puzzle bone. They have to figure out how to move the balls to get the treats out. It stimulates them mentally, as well as functioning as a chew toy, & they enjoy playing with it. Win win! I highly recommend this toy!

My italian greyhound loves working these for treats and kibble. I wash it in the dishwasher.

Doggie loves his treat holder

This is our 2nd treat holder. The first came from chewy. We ordered a replacement here on Amazon and it never arrived but Amazon made it right and I had a new treat holder in 2 days. My dog loves these holders. We use them to hide goodies to keep him busy when we leave. He loves to chew the hard boney ends which is why I purchases a second one.

Invaluable dog toy

My 20 pound chihuahua mix is not a big toy fan. This is the only treat dispensing toy she is obsessed with and that keeps her busy. Had same one with the rope inside, but this one is by far the best, since I can wash it properly.

Different item teceived

It’s totally different with the old one I have and also different from the picture shown. The package was also different. Size is smaller than the one I bought before. Is it fake???

Great for the dog but difficult for me!

We used to have this same toy but with a rope bone, and my pup was able to untie one end and pull the pods off to get the treats! I thought this might be a fix for that issue, but not so much. We purchased this from Amazon mid-december and it had held up pretty good; he has just started to be able to remove the blue pod from the bone (I'm actually not sure how, since the pod end is pretty slim and doesn't show signs of being damaged). I do find it a bit difficult to get treats into the pods, which is probably better so it's harder for him to get them out, but the blue pod is wide open, so leaving treats in there means he can get them pretty easily. There is a bit of a "stopper" on the other side of the blue pod where you can force the pod over and bring it closer to the end of the bone. This makes the opening smaller, but also makes it easier to get into the other two pods; I would have liked it to be the other way around; close to the orange pod, and when you push it over the end, it would make it harder to get into all three pods. The bone itself showed signs of wear as soon as we got it, it had grooves and slashes in it almost immediately. I also find it kind of difficult to clean, as the pods don't come off and food can be hard to clean out, even in the dishwasher. I would probably buy it again, as it does keep him occupied for quite a while, and it's not overly expensive, but might go for the larger one instead.

Best toy. My dog’s absolute favourite!!

Best toy. I’ve bought three because my guy loves it so much. I even buy them for friend’s dogs. He prefers this toy over the twenty other types he has. It’s simple but he loves it!

Not for chewers

This was a lot of fun for our dog. It only lasted a few days as our mini golden doodle puppy is a serious chewer. I won’t be purchasing again because it didn’t last very long for us.

Fell apart after one use

My dog literally tore off one of the great pods the first time she used it rendering it useless. She is a 1 year old mini bernedoodle.
