Best toilet seat ever!

I have boys, so obviously I wanted to get a quick release toilet seat for cleaning purposes. However, I also wanted a slow close option. This specific one had both options. Love that it's Kohler, a brand I know and trust. My 20 year old installed it with ease. He said it's definitely slow close. He said he might be back in the bathroom again, by the time it does close LOL

Nice upgrade for any bathroom

I've been a fan of quiet-close everything for as long as I can remember. This seat is no exception. It cleans up easily, looks good, feels sturdy and comfortable, and has made me embarrass myself when visiting friends and I just drop their normal toilet seats with a sLaM! You get so used to just slapping the top edge enough to start it closing, you'll eventually forget that not all toilet seats are created equal, though they should be. Anyway, highly recommended. Can't go wrong with Kohler.

Nice

I had to replace the toilet seats in my apartment because they were so flimsy and they just wouldn’t stay put, they would slide back and forth. Every other day I had to tighten the screws and it would just come loose again. They also had a tendency to fall closed! But these seats are solid and sturdy, they stay up, and when you close the lid, it goes down slowly. A little too slowly, but it’s still far better than what I was using before.

Great replacement or upgrade toilet seat!

Fit my kohler toilet perfectly. The quiet close feature is fantastic! Definitely worth it. Very easy to install.

Very nice for those with back issues

Works well as far as the slow and silent closing is concerned. For those with back issues, one doesn't have to bend to close the lid, which can be a great benefit.

Decent Product

It's a VERY slow close, which is what I like. The two screws to attach are mental and I would highly prefer plastic. Therefore I had to wrap the threads with Teflon tape for easy removal in the future if they rust.

As Good as the Originals

Had to replace the original Kohler seats on 2 toilets. They were a soft close. The soft close had stopped working after 12 years so these were the replacement. They work great. It was an easy and quick install. They are at least as strong as the seat being replaced. I hope that these last at least another 10+ years.

Not perfect fit

Installation guide on the box illustrates "perfect fit" adjustable hinge for custom fit and easy removal for cleaning. Definitely does not have this, it has a standard hinge as stated in previous reviews.

Good for the money

This seat was a replacement for my existing see that came with it the toilet. I definitely like this one because of the soft closing feature. Virtually all toilet seats are easy to install. The only complaint I would have about this one is that it does not have the easy snap in option my previous toilet seat
