Great learning resource

I like that there are multiple ways to utilize the blocks and teach spatial awareness. My toddler loves them.

Great for little logical ones-Not enough puzzels

My 3yo is VERY logical. We opened it up and she solved 21 of the 28 cards without any help. The remainder she hasn't but I was disappointed there weren't more. I don't think the cards themselves will last long. Of course, I can create puzzles for her based on the cards, which gives me a ton to show her. It's a good toy, but if you have a puzzle-oriented kid, I'd skip this and go straight to the Mental Blox. These are great but really basic.

Big Hit

These were ordered for my just-turned-5 great grandson. His mom says he loves it and they can see him working out how to match the pictures. I saw the vid and wish i could be there to play with it, too!!

Great game for young minds!

What a great game for my 5.5 and 4 year olds! Not only did they have fun, but they clear learned a bunch because they asked for more to play after they used up all the cards already in the box. I'm gonna head over and buy the Mental Blox game for the older kids they love it so much. They even played well together helping each other when they got stuck. If you have more than 1 child within a couple years of each other, you know how rare that is. :) Suggestion for growth: Expansion pack on the cards. These kids are hungry for more.

Excellent quality and value, but not that engaging

I bought this for my 3.5 year old. The quality of the pieces great -- sturdy plastic pieces in attractive colors and patterns. The box holds up well for storage. But the puzzles have not been that engaging. My kiddo enjoys other logic games, such as Kanoodle Jr. and the ones from SmartGames. Many of the puzzles in this set were fairly easy for him and he does not take it out that often.

Love the challenge for 3 and 4 year olds

A great logical puzzle game. We have completed about 3/4 of the cards and the discussion and wheels turning in those littles brains has been tremendous. Will need additional cards!

Good Educational Toy

Advertising is a great thing, is it not? Lots of pictures of happy and engaged children working their way through the various 'puzzles.' Of course we parents and grandparents know differently. Small children tend to wander and something like this is not going to hold their attention for too long no matter what the blurb says. Now, as responsible grandparents, my wife (who looks after the twin grandchildren for 2 days a week) make the effort to ensure that we engage and educate the little people in our lives as much as we can. As such 'educational' toys are part of that process and clearly this falls into that category. And its good. But....you need a few things like this or variations of it to keep small hands and brains engaged. Its nice to get stuff like this to review because it adds to the pile of things children can do whilst allowing for a bit of variation. Anyway, a simple concept that is well conceived and starts the process of logical thinking and memory in the youngsters. Given the instant gratification world we live in I suspect that this is the sort of thing that needs to be used as much as possible early on to help develop the correct mindset. With twins - a boy and a girl - we can set up to allow a bit of competition with this and that helps keep the interest going. My grandson in particular - probably common with boys - hates to lose and as such tries really hard to get it right. My granddaughter takes a slightly more relaxed view but really enjoys winning when she does. Price - well for what it is I'd say you were getting to the pricey end of the scale. But then, most so called educational toys tend to be a bit more because they play upon parents desires. Meh. Quality is okay and will last past the age when the children are interesting in it. Once that happens I will do the usual and donate to a local charity shop. At four, my grandchildren are just about within the range of interest and I'm sure that within a few months this toy will be redundant. Overall, a good addition to the means of educating your small folks.

Great gets kids thinking

This is a brilliant product. It can be played by one child on their own, unlike most board games, and it kept my son interested and engaged for a long time. The set comes with a base, 8 blocks of different colours and shapes, and challenge cards. There are 4 types of challenge cards which are all colour coded. The game is recommended for 4+ so I wasn’t sure if it would be too basic for my boy at 6 years but he really enjoyed doing all the challenges and was able to occupy himself with it independently, checking his answers on the back of the cards. However, I would probably recommend to buy the non Junior normal version for this age. The challenges vary in difficulty and some may look simple but it does really get kids thinking and help their spacial and visual reasoning. I found it really good. I will try my younger toddler with it too and see how she gets on from 2/3+ i think it will work for a variety of ages
