Nicely made

Fair price, worth the cost. I bought the black set of these to hang kitchen tools like spatulas and a ladle from my black refrigerator. They are shipped in two parts-the magnetic base and the hook which screws on. All of them went together with no trouble at all. The hooks are tight and don't wiggle at all. They have a nice glossy black finish. The product description said they had 25 pounds of force when pulled directly away from the mounting surface. I imagine this would vary based on exactly what alloy they were attached to. I have no way to measure their holding force so I can't say it really is 25 pounds, but they do hold very tightly to the fridge, and I believe it must be close to the advertised 25 pounds. I got my money's worth. Worth five stars.

These are strong little magnets

First I will say they are stronger than expected. They are small but a good size to use in the RV stive area. The think I didnt like was you have to screw the hook into the base and the threads dont match up great. One only screwed 1/2 way in and the other just two turns. So you can hardly tell but I wonder what the reduced strength of those two. One screwed right together and so I know thats what they are made to do but 2 of the 3 didnt. They are a nice gloss black color.

Out-punches it’s weight class

Pretty strong for such little suckers. Got them to hang oven mitts, aprons and a few light utensils around the kitchen. They work like a charm…easy to remove but REALLY have some magnetic pull on the stove hood. Will definitely be strong enough for: Oven mitts/pads Large utensils (spatulas, whisks, graters, cooking/wooden spoons, can openers etc.) Towels Measuring cups Normal set of keys Any kind of wiring/Christmas lights And if you hung it from above with the hook down - MAYBE smaller coffee mugs Probably NOT going to work for: Small appliances (immersion blenders, French presses etc) any tool larger than a hand crescent wrench or hand screwdriver like a plumbing wrench or hammer Almost all clothing except maybe like a pair of driving/cell phone gloves or cooking aprons. Probably won’t hold industrial or leather aprons. Brooms/or full length supplies. Little handheld swiffers and the like are fine. That should give some kind of idea regarding the strength which - really, is what we all want to know about them. They’ve held up well in the few months we’ve had them - no breaks, cracks or coming apart. Quality is definitely there if they suit your needs.

Suitable for light weight items

I purchased these magnetic hooks for a cruise we recently took based on recommendations from cruisers on a Facebook site. These were very helpful for using next to the door to hang my lanyard and a lightweight jacket. I also used next to the bathroom to hang up my wet swim suits after using the pool/spa onboard. They were not quite strong enough to use just 1 for a wet/damp swimsuit but 2 were fine. The walls in the stateroom are metal so they can be used anywhere you find helpful. There was a line in the shower for hanging some items but my swimsuit dried faster hanging outside the bathroom.

Smaller than expected

Great color, smaller than I thought. Great magnetic hold though! I bought for our cruise to have more places to hang things. There was hardly any metal in our stateroom though.

Strong for what they are. But I can’t see it holding 26 lbs. lol. Maybe collectively. Not single hook though. These are much smaller then I thought they were

NOT as strong as they claim

These are quite small, but I can't take away stars for that as the dimensions are in the pictures. BUT they claim that they will hold 8lbs of lateral weight and this is not true at all. I just tried to hang a bag that weighs 4.5lbs on it (weighted on my kitchen scale) and it didn't hold at all. Just slid right down immediately And I wasn't even near the 8lbs they claimed. So if you're hanging sometehing small and light? Ok. But they do not hold anywhere near the weight that the listing states.
