Great box...just don't over tighten
Love the box, except for the cheap post screws. First the positive: It is a well made plastic box that is a great way to organize the rat nest of wires your RV probably came with. Glad I made the switch. Only negative is the quality of the post screws/bolts. My box was fully installed and I was down to torquing my final post nut. Without ever feeling the nut bottom out, it started spinning on the post...stripped. Easy fix, but a pain in the rear unless you do it before install. I removed all the wires, then unclipped the plastic bracket that holds the screws. I bought 7 new HIGH QUALITY SS 5MM x 20MM hex head machine screws plus washers, lock washers and nuts. The old ones pop right out and the news ones pop right in. Snapped it back in place and VOILA! I have now turned it into a 5 star box. My fault for over torquing? Perhaps, but mine was barely snug when it stripped. Lesson learned? Don't trust cheap, easily replaceable screws. Replace them.

Could use some updates but overall good product.
I used this on a trailer that had very messy wiring from the factory. It was a neat way to hide everything and make some clean connections that were tucked away from the enviroment. It appears the hardware is all stainless that will hopefully not corrode. After I got all my connections heat shrunk and tied away I sprayed everything with fluid film to avoid any further issues. My only gripes are I wish they would have colored the connections for the regular 7 pin style for easy identification, I used some craft paint to achieve this. Be careful to not over torque the nuts on the inside as they will strip fairly easily. I also wish there was some type of rubber seal built in to where the wires enter the box, silicone will be needed to seal connections off.

Great Wire Organizer - Not so Great Internal Bolts
I installed the 7 way electrical junction box on my travel trailer tongue to get the wires from the 7 pin cable organized and enclosed out of the weather. It works great for those functions. I only used 6 of the 7 studs in the box since I don't use the center pin on the 7 pin cable for trailer backup lights. However, some of the studs in the box ended up with several wires attached which made it difficult to tighten the nut onto the stud because I also used ring terminals on each wire. On our first trip with the trailer after I installed the junction box, our trailer brakes failed which I traced to the stud with the brake wires attached. It wasn't tight enough for all the ring connectors to make good contact and the stud ended up stripping when I tried to get it fully tightened. I just moved those wires to the spare stud and was able to carefully tighten it enough. The stud bolt and nut hardware is pretty low quality. I will definitely upgrade all the nuts and bolts the next time I have to do anything in the junction box. Replacing the hardware before installing any wires is easy.

I added this box to make replacing my wiring harness easy
Not only is the box waterproof and keeps the connections out of the weather it makes replacing the wiring harness much easier. No reconnection needed just put the end adapter on the wire and screw it down. Great product for easy maintenance

Easy and simple.
This unit took me some time to get installed due to weather. Now that it is installed, have had a couple of issues. I had to open the unit as I could not figure out why I had no constant power, turns out to be plug from truck, when I opened the unit I got soaked, full of water. When I re installed the cover, the screws would not get tight, when I went down the road, the cover fell off and no where to be found. I will now cover the opening with tape to keep debris out. Just be careful placing the screws in the lid.

MICTUNING 7 Way Electrical Trailer Junction Box - 7 Gang Trailer Wire Connection Box Weatherproo
This 7 way trailer junction box is a good value. It seems to be well made and has plenty of options for routing your trailer wiring. I'm not so sure it's "weatherproof" as there are no seals or gaskets on the box or any openings. I plan to add some sealant around all openings in the box since this is for my boat trailer. I'll also add locknuts to secure trailer wires terminals inside the box. Super fast shipping.
