Worked on my Motorguide XI5

I used this in lieu of Motorguide's XI5 quick-release base on my 2022 Keywest 219FS. We had issues with the Motorguide brand having too much "play". We had to drill some holes to make the MinnKota work. But, it was much more stout and works great.

Great bracket with minor mods done to it.

I had to make 2 extra holes and counter sink them in the base plate. The way it's set up with a hole in each corner may not work with all bows. I have a bay boat and the front facing holes on the base plate would not work since it had to be mounted just passed the edge of my bow in order for it to work. Also the drill bit it requires to mount it is not a very common bit and I had a hard time finding it at lowes or home depot. I just order it on Amazon . Over all im happy with my purchase so far.

Great way to mount the Ulterra

Strong and stout without any flex or rattling. Installed on my inshore boat without any additional spacers or hardware. I ordered an additional puck to mount on the garage wall to store the trolling motor when not in use. Our mooring cover still fits over the extended puck when the Ulterra stays at home.

It’s absolutely perfect just put a lock on so nobody else can dismount and steal your motor.

PERFECT. He loved it. Got this for my boyfriends minn Kota 70 lb powerdrive with I pilot.. he said it’s made it literally effortless to switch it back and forth.. also he doesn’t have to keep drilling makeshift mounts to his boat.. the only thing I would recommend is, put a decently strong lock on it so nobody else can dismount it. His motor was very expensive and A LOT of people ask about it.. it would be awful if somebody removed it because it was made so easy so definitely keep that in mind but they made a great product. And the white composite mount just looks very nice on the boat in general.

MAN! All holes so tight, won’t line up after installed on trolling motor and boat

Brought the bracket on sales, all the holes so tight, once installed quick release bracket on boat and trolling motor, not able to get secure rod into the holes. Need remove bracket and modified holes to make the rod fit.
