Best Hummingbird feeder!

Over several decades, I have purchased many different hummingbird feeders but have not kept any one of them - until this one! This little gem is perfect in every way! It has all the necessary features: a clear-glass body so you can monitor its contents level, a red-glass top to attract the hummers, port holes that the hummers do not find difficult to find, and an outer ring that invites the guest to sit a spell and take a rest. It's also very easy to clean. The port holes are a pleasant surprise because they were the one feature that had made me hesitate to buy the feeder. When I saw two hummers visit it at the same time, though, I knew I that my "guests" liked it. I came back and bought three more feeders! Best of all, it doesn't have those stupid "flower" inserts that don't fit, or that fall out and get lost as other common feeders use!

As expected

Delivered early. Small - maybe a little bigger than a CD in diameter, but that's what I wanted. Painted well and I like that there is a little perch for the birds to sit on. TBD if it attracts Baltimore orioles

Imprecise yet effective

My mom loves to watch birds at the feeder stand we've had in the back for years. A while ago, she was given a stand which holds up to 4 bird feeders, but she never had 4 feeders to fill it. I bought two of these thinking they would work well to fill up the stand. The manufacturing was a bit imprecise; the chains don't all hold weight at once because some are shorter than others, but it works perfectly. In fact, they work better than other feeders she has had. -The birds would knock seed out of the other feeders to find what they like, leaving others to scavange on the ground. With these feeders, the birds don't need to do that, they can see the seed right there in the tray. -These feeders make it easier to see the birds, since they're always on top rather than on the side where they might slip out of view behind the feeder. -Other feeders are harder to fill. The top comes off, then they get filled slowly from bottom to top. With these, I could scoop the seed right from the bag with the feeder itself. The only possible downside is that the steel they're made from seems like it could rust quickly. I don't know if that would be good for the birds, but with a coat of some kind of sealant, that could be quickly solved. I hope this helps.

I was hoping the small size of this feeder might deter the squirrels. Not so, as you can see from the photo!

Classy little feeder

LOVE this little feeder! I bought it for feeding mealy worms to my bluebirds. It is hanging in a crepe myrtle tree about 10 feet from their birdhouse. It is very sturdy and looks so classy. I am very impressed with the quality and my birds found it within 2 days. Right now I only have 2 bluebirds and I have to fill up the feeder about once a week. Would make a great gift!

I have Orioles that come back every year looking for their grape jelly!!! This is the best I have ever seen also has 2 spikes to add their oranges on it cant wait for them to show up this year!!!

Very well made but wish, the wholes in the saucers were a bit smaller. Good for large seeds like sunflowers but the smaller seeds will go through.

Good Quality!!!

Very good quality, heavy enough that it doesn’t sway like a chime but light enough to hang from a eavestrough! I love seeing the birds feeding from it.
