Overpriced

This isn't great but it does the trick. Just expect some lag. The video is about average. Have been using for a few months now. It's not a bad product, it's just overpriced for what it does.

Better than thge 1510.

This is much better than the 1510 series. That being said this is not great. The quality of camera seems to just be mediocre. There are cheap cheap cams out there that will keep up or outperform and cost around 5 times less.

Laggy, static, good picture quality

Using the baby monitor, I was pleased at the crisp resolution (720p is far better tech compared to the older 240p models I used to use), however this came at the cost of some sound and video lag. The video lag I can accept since I'm just using it to monitor - I'm not trying to watch TV on it. Night vision is also crisp. And the range is great, I can be on the far side of the house and still have consistent signal without any interruptions, whereas the old models I could only get up to 20-30 feet within the house before I started getting issues. Devices next to it would not interrupt the connection either (phones/mice, etc that used to interfere with older models) Battery life of 6 hours is generous, though I would have liked that there be a USB C instead of an AC plug so I could stick this onto an external battery. The charging wire for the wall plug is generously long though. The monitoring unit is HUGE, and definitely not pocketable. It's also a bit of a fingerprint monitor. Make sure you charge it for the full 16 hours - it arrives with the battery completely depleted, so you should make sure to charge completely prior to using it. This will help the batteries out tremendously. When you lose power to the camera, the monitor will begin beeping - loudly. This won't stop until you hit "OK" on the menu button. It'll definitely get your attention. One last thing, because this can also connect to your smartphone, it will keep prompting you to download the app on your phone and you have to hit "MENU" to skip it and get to the video footage.

Crisp Picture

We were looking for a baby monitor to help watch my daughter so that we can check in on her during the night and when she naps, for our piece of mind and so that we will know when she wakes up from her naps. As far as baby monitors go, these is definitely one of the nicer ones that I have used. Setup was easy enough. The camera itself looks super cute when its sitting on the shelf, almost like a little robot. The picture quality is amazing. There's a tiny bit of delay between the motion and what the camera shows, but that's pretty common. The motion range is nice. It gives a really wide area of motion. I've had some issues with connectivity the further we are from it (while still within its range), but only every once in a while. I also wish the battery life was a little longer than what it was. If I have it unplugged during all day to keep it with me, I have to plug it back in at night so that it will stay charged. I haven't tried out the app features with it, but even without those, we're really happy with it.

Quality night vision with one angle

These are great for monitoring your baby during day naps and night time. Having one camera is sufficient if you have a smaller room but do note that the angle of the camera can be limited and the placement is important if your room is small. Installing it in a corner should capture everything but if you're monitoring a toddler, these can be limited due to their mobility. I would advise on keeping the sound to the max as you can make sure to capture every movement and cry so that you're not sleeping through it.

Great baby monitor with actual monitor and app access

Got this for our baby and I am impressed. It is motorola so it does not look cheap at all. The camera turns almost 360 degrees with a super high camera quality. When you use the monitor, there is no lagging. it also measures temperature, detects noise, etc. It took a little bit to set up the app as it had hard time finding our router but the steps were very easy to follow and troubleshoot. It however lags with app use. However I think a lot of other baby cameras also lags for a few seconds when using the app. I love how this model comes with both monitor (which doesnt require wifi) and also the app as well. Definitely worth the price!
