It's so convenient to just be able to cut the exact length needed. The best part is how economical it is compared to the overpriced products sold by others.

Used to tie garbage can lids down.

Purchased to tie around hooks to keep raccoons from opening up our garbage cans, and this worked like a charm. I'm sure I will be using them for much more in the future.

Typical Nite Ize quality and much more versatile and inexpensive than regular GearTies

** UPDATE After 1 year of use ** I was a little concerned about the durability of the rubberized foam exterior, but after 1 year of outdoor use, all of my gear ties continue to be fully functional. ** FIRST IMPRESSION ** Fantastic product, it is not as heavy duty as the regular gear ties, but it is very grippy and has an internal wire of good quality and thickness. I use it for outdoor activities like camping, but it can be used for anything, just like any other Gear Tie. At a local outdoor store I had the opportunity of testing similar products, "UST Gear Snake" and "UST Gear Cobra" and they were very low quality, slippery and flimsy, these garden ties are much more substantial. For ~$10 they are a fantastic deal. I don't know why anyone would buy the more expensive regular gear ties. Keep in mind that cutting the material in pieces will expose the internal wire to the elements. For this I use some Heat Shrink Tubing to seal the ends.

The best tie grip

This is the best time grip I have found and I am an pro gardner. It is easy to work with, strong, cuts nice and holds fast. The combo of foam over the wire has lasted through two winters and holds the plants to the stake, like apple trees, lilac, clematis, Japanese Maples. And it looks good too. Love this product and very satisfied.

Reusable AND cut to size

These little green twist ties they say are to tie vines to stakes. "I laugh at you!" I've tied vines to stakes, organized cables, tied back curtains, collected together a bunch of poles, laced it through a hanging wicker basket for strength and to make it look pretty! I'm sure I can thing of plenty more things to do with it. The trick is that it can be any length you want up to 20ft/6.09M. Gotta go! I just realized I can organized my archival boxes with this!

Great alternative idea

I used this material for nose "grips" for Covid masks I was making. Very soft and flexible and easy to work with. Great alternative to wire nose pieces.

Soft Foam covered tie

This is soft foam covered garden tie. Works great on plants without harm. It's a bit more pricey here than at a hardware store. But still a good value. I like this Nite Ize product more than the one I can get from my local hardware store.

As expected

This garden tie is easy on your plants' stems, easy to cut to the required length and easy to stabilize in whatever shape works best. It's a spool of garden tie and works as expected.

Not just for garden use

Works good, durable, holds its shape decently, strong enough to need wire cutters. Not just good for garden use, I also use this to hang garbage bag rolls, ur imagination is the limit.

Soft but supportive

I have a roll of this and a pair of scissors in my greenhouse to use on my constantly growing tomatoes. Love it because it has a soft surface that doesn't damage my plants and a hard core that is able to give good hold. I also like that I can cut any length I need.
