THE VERY BEST
It's stainless steel and works great! Nothing plastic to break. My mother in law has one just like it that she's used for many many years. It's the best there is.

Tasty creamed corn
It worked just as one I used to have before our move (it will show up), and I’m now able to remove the fresh corn from the cob. Corn season is on here in AL.

This is a great corn cutter
Folks in the Southern US know how to cook creamed corn, and this tool is the one to use.

Not sharp enough and blade doesn’t adjust as much as older models
We had one of these years ago and part of it was lost in a move. I thought this would work just as well as the previous. It wasn’t as sharp, doesn’t adjust as much as it should, and the creamer portion isn’t removable either. We got the job done but I had to have my husband use it to cut the corn from the cob.

Love creaming my own corn
This is a tool I was given by my mother in law 30 years ago and it finally gave up. (She’d had it since the early 40’s)! I didn’t even know they still made them, but there it was. Tis the season for it, and it’s even better than the first one! Yummmmmm

Pleased to find one new and stainless steel
My wife and I have used others, and love making our own creamed corn, and regular corn too. Haven't used this one yet, but, can tell by looking at it that its good. The stainless steel will last a long time, won't rust, and will be easy to clean. We have used the old wood ones and they can harbor bacteria. The stainless steel can be disinfected better than wood. The instructions on the box are as clear as day. It will just take some experience how to adjust the setting with a screwdriver, according to the size of the corn and whether to cream or to just cut- that's just what comes with using any cutters. Ultimately, the cutting comes down to your own pressure, and observation, whether your taking too much or too little off. We were so pleased to find that we could find one new - we had been borrowing a neighbors, but we wanted our own.

I love it
On the positive side 4 stars: many 70 foot rows of cobs later I love it and it has saved me a lot of time. Stainless easy to clean, cuts good (to the person complaining it does not work, I'd say practice makes better and operator error makes worse, also corn cobs are individuals too and that needs to be taken into account as one handles them. If one's intent in to make corn mash, it is sure to be true. a point knocked off because: one must watch out and keep finger clear of blades, and so this seems common sense to me, so has not been an issue. If there is one thing missing it is a pan for underneath to catch the corn, but one can improvise with a cookie sheet just as well
