Use drywall screws instead of nails

If you want to install the pipe downward as the product picture indicates, it's very hard to pound the nail straightly because you have to use your hammer upside down. After having got a second one snipped due to too many times of bending the nail for adjustment, I went to a local hardware store to get a box of #7 2-inch drywall screw. I had drill the clip's nailing whole a little bit so that the slightly fatter screw wouldn't break the plastic piece, but otherwise everything well excellently. In general, this kind of clip installation is much much easier with screws than nails. I wonder why this product uses nails.

Kind of pricey, but pretty much necessary for a misting system installation

Disappointed that, after about two months outdoors (used to hold my misting system pipes under a pergola), several of the nails have rusted. Curiously, some of them are in perfect shape, so perhaps it's a quality control issue on the galvanizing in a batch.

Good fit

Did not understand how to hang this. Do I hammer it in first or with pipe in it. The answer is without the pipe. It bends enough for pipe to snap in . I smashed my first one up doing it the wrong way. I have 3 mister systems and I use this clamp for two of them

Know where you want it!

They work, but God forbid you get one in the wrong spot and need to remove it.... It won't be easy and you will tear it to pieces in the process... trust me.

Predrilling is not a bad idea if working with harder materials

These worked perfectly to hang a PVC mister on our back patio. Easy to use and not a problem with any we received.
