Bracket didn't fit my ancient TV

I had to use some pieces of my old wall mount to get things to line up, but my TV is pretty old-so maybe the mount specs have changed. The TV size and weight were within the limits for this mount, so I made it work. I love it. I anchored two of the bolts into the truss through the ceiling and two through the ceiling tiles with the drywall anchors. It's really easy to adjust left to right- like, ridiculously easy. You have to actually operate a thumb screw to adjust the tilt, but it stays where you put it! I think what I like most about it is that it was the easiest to install LEVEL. It's so easy to let the drill crawl juuuuuust enough out of true when you're installing a wall mount to have a visibly crooked TV. If your ceiling is level there's no issue! If it's not, throw a washer or some cardboard between the bracket and the ceiling on one or two corners and it's all good. With a wall mount it's harder and more frustrating to fix. Anyway, it's been up for a few months now and I love it. I want to replace my other 2 TV mounts with these.

Good but Weak

The mount was good and the plate to mount the TV was good and sturdy but the down rod was easily squashed when I tightened the bolts (small gauge steel). A black plastic piece fit over the end of the rod to support it but it was too weak and squashed as well. I picked it up second hand from Amazon for a small price and I was able to use it for a small TV in my shop. I would not recommend this product.

Ceiling mount.

Works for our needs. Packaging was really beat. Screws for the back of the Hisense attach bar too long. Ceiling mount screws stripped out pretty easily. All in all though decent value for the money

Not easy to install

This product is intended to suspend from the ceiling. It is very difficult to install and attach the TV. There are no hooks to hang the TV while attaching the bracket to the back of the TV like other mounts I have used. You have to attach the mount to the ceiling before attaching the TV but then must lift the TV and attach it once the rack is attached to the ceiling. Extremely difficult with a large, heavy TV. The bar that suspends from the ceiling moves freely and turns which does not make for a secure, stationary installation. I would recommend against this purchase.

Good space saver.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my moms old flat screen 32' Toshiba that was made in '09 and it works great! The only down fall was having to put all the pieces together. It does swivel left to right which is a plus. I would buy definitely this again as long as it was under $20 cuz of having to take the time to put it all together. Also on a side note she's retired and had bought a mobile home so we had to find a stud on the ceiling to attached the pole mount to and we we're able to get 2 screws to mount and that seems to be working just fine. Its great for small places that dont have a lot of room like her mobile home. Hope this helps someone else.

Not as pictured in manufacturer photo on Amazon web page....

When I searched for a ceiling mount, the attached photo is what appeared. Nice looking home style decorative mount for both ceiling joist and VESA mount and thumb wheel tilt mechanism. This is not what I received! Received item (tiny pics on the page) is more for industrial or garage settings with 4+ inch wide four bolt mount. The down rod will hang loosely in the oversized hole with no bushing or bearing to allow smooth rotation. VESA tilt requires a wrench. This is more for a one-time mount, adjust and forget. Amazon needs to change the web page to remove conflicting product photos or PyleUSA needs to ship what they picture. Totally misleading, a waste of my and money time for a perceived in-home product. It's being returned.

Buy cheap get cheap

So it does mount into the ceiling, the instructions are part of the box and not some extra slip of paper, they are very poor instructions but if you know how to put things together you should be fine. I wouldn't put a heavy TV on this. The bar that slides into the mount to hang is not sturdy and if you touch your tv well its hanging it will 100% swing like crazy because the poll is just sitting in the hole and nothing is keeping it in place. It works, you get what you pay for. this is cheap cheap cheap trash.

Love it, its perfect

This was perfect for mounting on my L-Shape Computer set up instead of hanging down from the ceiling, I have a Triple Monitor Setup and I wanted a 4th Monitor just above the middle monitor this was perfect for that as long as you don't mind drilling into your table and I love that the plastic cover hides the screws. And as long as you don't mind taking the time to run your wire through it properly just use a coat hanger to grab the wire out it will be a little difficult but can be done, then you can hide your wire perfect as well. I also added some tape so it hide the wire perfect from being seen from the front, the display port wire that is not the power wire I have that running from the inside of the stand.

Excellent features for low price

Received this wall bracket in January 2020 after taking out of the box it looked different to the picture that is posted on Amazon, I still decided to use it because where I was mounting it didn’t matter overall for the low price as compare to others it’s a good metal design, this bracket can tilt 30 degrees, swivel, and adjust up or down, I’m still happy with it but disappointed receiving a different one from the picture that was posted.

42 INCHES PLUS

Love this thing. For the price vs value. Awesome. First thing is that a few specs here are off. It hangs with the shorter measurements of 33" (There were two different lengths mentioned when I purchased) Also this is rated for up to a 42" tv although if the Tv you're mounting weighs less than half the recommended capacity you can safely hang up to a 50". The difference if you've hung large Tv's is the VESA plate. The mounts with braces stabilize better. If you google mounts some manufactures such as cheetah use the standard plate or 'X' plate for Tv's up to 50". As long as you properly hit two screws into a stud there will be no issues. The bar if hanging on the longest hole settings might wiggle or feel flimsy. No worries -it's fine unless you live in an earthquake zone or have children who like to jump and slam dunk Tv screens. I've mounted a 48" samsung and it's perfect. (Note: most mounting units with lower tv size ratings and a high weight capacity usually do not supply the correct plate screws, This is usually the only difference. Use a toothpick to measure depth of hole in tv screw holes. Any hardware type store has these screws for a cpl bucks) As for the tube conceiling wires do not pay attention to the review that had me concerned. The hole is big enough to fit any standard plug as thick as a power bar grounded plug. Regardless any decent tv should be able to unplug in order to feed cable backwards. The person with this issue must have been using one of those huge replacent plugs you get at Home Depot or mounting a dinasaur. Finally I thought the length would not suffice my viewing needs. A replacement pipe and a drill for the holes is easy and cheap. I was prepared to hang lower but found that the longest extension once mounted still got my tv almost four feet down from the ceiling so was content. Hanging a 32" might leave it sitting higher around three feet down but the 20 degree tilt really makes the difference. Bottom line: If you don't want to spend $60 which is the average next price step up this unit will do the trick!

Not as described - Images decieving/older higher end version

Product is not anywhere close to as described in the images and the description. Fraudulent and misleading. It looks to be a significantly cost-down version of the product advertised. Will not work for my purposes because of the mfg changes/reduced quality. Very Very dissapointed. If I wanted rusted, cheap crap, I would have bought the $18 cheap crap one.
