Holds one costco sized bag of flour perfectly

You'll need to purchase the lid to this container separately, but it's a great buy. Holds 25lbs of flour perfectly.

good for home brewing

Got this bucket for fermenting homemade apple cider and it works great. The fact that it's completely clear with markings every one quart makes it easy to measure. I don't need a lid for this bucket now, but I took off one star because it does not come with a lid and the lids that fit cost more than the bucket itself. The lid should have been included in the first place.

Heavy duty American made food grade 22 quart container minus lid (correct lid link below)

I use this 22 qt. bucket for storage of small cleaned parts of my brewing equipment. The correct lid is Rubbermaid part FG573000YEL. There is confusion in several areas of Amazon as to which lid is correct. I checked and checked again and still ordered the wrong lid. The FG573000YEL fits the 22, 18 and 12 qt. size containers. The 1980384 lid is too small and fits the 8 qt containers. In the end I bought a 8 qt container instead of returning wrong lid. I use the 8 qt bucket for storing Starsan sanitizer for my home brewing operation. Excellent container. Sturdy.

I make a LOT of bread. This container is huge but I love it because I can keep large amounts of flour fresh right in my kitchen. I can fit a 25lb bag if flour from Costco in this container. Easy access. It's perfect.

Houston, we have a lid problem...

Bucket is great if all you need and want is the bucket. Try finding a lid that matches it. There is a link in another review to the "proper" lid. Bought one - nope. Marginally too large, doesn't snap on tight. So, if all you need is a bucket, you can buy a five gallon bucket at Walmart for a fraction of the price and be good to go. But if you need this bucket to have a lid, I guess Rubbermaid didn't even think of that as a possibility.

Well made

The container is well made but it comes without a lid, even though the photo shows the lid, the color of the 'item' is listed as 'yellow' and the only thing yellow on the product is the lid. You must buy the lid separately. For me, the container is useless without a lid, so I called Amazon to confirm that a lid was included. On two occasions, they confirmed a lid and I wound up returning one container when it came without a lid and I had the opportunity to return the second shipment when it too came without a lid. I hope Amazon does not pull the product, but the advertiser must make it clear that there is no lid.

Did what it's supposed to

I bought this to use for making saurkraut. It worked great. My only complaint is the handles are pretty hard on your hands once it is filled. Also, the first one I ordered arrived cracked, but they quickly shipped me a replacement with no fuss.

Great Dough Bucket

I can comfortably make 8 loaves of bread dough (3628g Flour, 64g Yeast, 2720g Lukewarm Water, 40g Salt) in this and have it rise without touching the top. Durable, easy to clean, easy to vent (make sure to buy the large cover which is sold separately for $5), large, and everything I wanted out of a container like this. Highly recommend, haven't had any complaints thus far.
