What I needed to but hard to navigate
I bought these and mounted them to a rock at the lake to get up on. They are difficult and twist on you. Just fine for me and my buddies. Too hard for kids or someone who doesn't have great stability. Seem durable enough though.

Way too difficult to use
Bought this for our pontoon boat because our integrated ladder broke. This is awful. The steps have no weight to them so they just float away. It is next to impossible to use. I'm pretty strong and I struggled mightily to use this to get myself back on our boat. I strongly do not recommend.

Collapses for easy storage. Easy to use
Use it on bass boat for swimming.

Easy to deploy and folds up very nicely to stow in a small bag or compartment.
I purchased this to use as a removeable/temporary boarding ladder for my boat since there is no good place to permanently mount a traditional boarding ladder. 1) You cannot simply lay the top part of the rope over a cleat and climb the ladder as the photos show. Doing so will result in the rope slipping along the cleat until the steps of the ladder rotate from horizontal to vertical. Instead, take the top loop and tie it off the the cleat like you would a dock line - up through the space between the feet of the cleat and around the horns. This will keep it from slipping. For my use, I cut the top loop of the rope and installed stainless steel spring links on each end and then clip those off to a couple of tie down rings on the stern of the boat. This provides extra stability while climbing the rope. I also replaced the closest adjacent stern cleat on the boat with a very large 8" cleat that can be grasped like a grab bar. 2) The PVC pipe sections that keep the individual steps spaced properly are fairly thin. I don't know what the practical weight limit is on this ladder, but if you're a heavier person like me, it might be worth replacing them with regular schedule 40 PVC. I'm giving the product a 5 star review because it's a clever design at a decent price and will work well enough for most folks right out of the box.

Not for older people
Ladder goes under boat making it VERY difficult to use.

Okay
Hard to use. It floats. I may try and add some weight to the bottom step so it doesn't float and I think it will be more usable after that.

Much cheaper than adding a ladder to the swim platform
I bought this to use as a way for people to get back into our boat when out at the sand bar. I run it from the rear tow point on my Malibu VLX over the swim plat form. It makes it much easier for people who struggle to get themselves back onto the boat. The alternative of installing a ladder and doing fiberglass work on my swim platform seemed like too much work and too expense. This stores nicely under the seats in the boat when not being used.

Doesn't work quite how I imagined it
So I am getting older and having trouble using the existing 2 step ladder onto our boat. I saw this ladder and thought it was perfect. The problem is that this very flexible ladder kind of goes under the boat when I try to climb it, making it kind of useless. Was worth a shot, but nope, doesn't work for our boat.

Good ladder
Good ladder for the boat, it os easy to fold and store for sure but it is difficult to climb in when you are in the water as the ladder goes under the boat when you are climbing. I personally love it but not the wife... :')

If you can buy a fixed ladder
It seems to be okay quality. my problem is it’s very hard to use. If you are hanging it over a boat, when you put your foot on the bottom step it just moves under the boat. Not a problem with this particular model just a problem with hanging rope ladders all together

Absolutely useless
Good luck getting into your boat
