I love my new "Rosie"

My rose gold vacuum, "Rosie," is such a joy! She is light, maneuverable, efficient and even kind of pretty (for a vacuum). I used to dread vacuuming. It was such a pain to lug my big old beast of a machine out of the closet. I never used it more than once a month. I use my new Wandvac EVERY DAY (sometimes more than once). In fact, my wrist and thumb often get sore. My only complaints are the battery run time and very small dust cup . I did purchase a (pricey) spare battery to alleviate that concern and I have gotten used to emptying the cup frequently. Its really amazing how much junk this thing keeps sucking out of the carpets. It gets all the crumbs off the tile floors in the kitchen and picks up hair from the marble floors in the baths. Perfect for a small to medium-sized apartment. I had originally expected to use it for "above the floor" cleaning, but soon realized a good fuzzy duster on an extension pole is actually easier. All things considered, I am pleased with my purchase. I hope Rosie is with me for a while (my full-sized Dirt Devil has been going for over 30 years with just bag, filter and roller belt changes).

Great for long haired gals

I love this vacuum. It is great for picking up long hair and not getting caught in the belt. It goes right to the filter which you empty. I am using this vacuum on bare floors only. I also love that you can detach the top section and use as a dust buster. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is it will not stand up on its own. If you put it down and leave it, it will topple over. The other thing I don’t like is when you open the filter to dump, it pops open and all the dust falls out. You have to be careful and do this right over the garbage. For the most part I love this vacuum and would purchase again.

Spend more if you like, it's a vacuum not a fashion accessory

My kitchen floor is always grubby. Three kids and four pets, it gets messy fast. I did not want to buy yet another vacuum, but I hate the broom and nobody was willing to drag out the big vac. I certainly wasn't going to spend $700 on a Dyson. This is a great fit for me and my limited needs of cleaning my tile kitchen floor and entry. The dirt container seems like it would be laughably small, but it is not at all a problem. No, this will not replace a primary corded vac and does not pull as hard as the expensive types of cordless vacs. However, it does a great job of un-crumbing my kitchen and gets a lot of pet hair also. It is simple, has no "modes" or anything else; one button turns it on/off, that's it. The brush head blades are foam and don't get hair tangled in them. I have used it on carpet, but it does not pull hard enough to displace the need to use the big vac. Overall, I am pleased (so far) that it helps me keep the house cleaner and is a simple device for a reasonable price. If it had LED lights on the head it would be perfect. If you are the type that has to have The Best, look elsewhere. If you like spending just enough to get the job done, this will do.

Perfect for a small apartment

I purchased this after reading many reviews on this and other units. This light weight stick vacuum is perfect for me because , hello, no cord to trip over!! The suction works well if you keep canister emptied. Love how it maneuvers into any spot with ease and it’s so simple to switch up the components, for example the small brush for pet hair. On the negative, the battery charge doesn’t last too long but that doesn’t affect me too much ( small apartment) and also both tools don’t fit on the charging stand neatly, not sure why they made a designated space for only one. I got rose gold and it’s pretty to boot, lol!

Works great, makes my life easier

I'm elderly with severe arthritis and spinal degeneration. I can no longer use even my lightweight corded vac. So I ordered this, hoping it would work. It DOES! It's wonderful for people in my condition. I can move it about easily and the bonus of being able to detach the wand is fabulous. I can't say enough about the power fins. They stay clean and I don't have to worry about cleaning them. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that these fins seem to leave a polish on the hard floor surfaces. That was unexpected -- I was delighted to see a shine there. They also work to get the dust and debris out of my carpet and even my rug that has very dense pile. This was the best price I found anywhere, and it was easy to assemble. The only thing I'd change is that I would love a bigger dust cup.

Love this little vac

Light weight, powerful and easy to clean. We keep this one in our kitchen cupboard for those quick vacuum jobs, saves getting the monster vacuum out of the garage. ????

Battery Life is extremely short!

Poor battery life - only 12 minutes on full charge 1 1/2 months into use. This is my second one. I originally purchased 11-22 and after a month of use, it wouldn't last 2 minutes on a fresh charge. So I purchased another one willing to give the it another try since it did such a great job on hardwoods and carpet. I use this for main bathroom and bedroom a few times a week for 2 minutes. I have had the new one for 1 1/2 months and today (after cleaning everything) I wanted to see how long it would last immediately after a full charge........it lasted 12 minutes! I will keep since I use it briefly, does do a great job for normal vacuuming, easy to use, love the options, and does get pet hair off couches fairly well.

Got Pets? Get this!

Awesome vacuum! The picture is what it collected in 30 seconds AFTER using the vacuum we originally had! Amazing! LOVE: Super mobile and easy to navigate, gets under the couch/table/dresser/small spaces, only need one pass to pick stuff out of the carpet, the HAND vacuum that pops off the top! DON’T LOVE: The battery life is JUST enough to do a quick cleaning of our house. We have 80% hard wood and the rest carpet. We also have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I wish it lasted a bit longer but if you’re using it daily, the battery is just fine!
