Great for sripping luminary dimming insolation jacket

Im an electrician with local 26. This was an awesome buy, i use it to strip luminary dimming wire insolation jacket instead of stripping it with T strippers and possibly knicking the two conductors

Perfect for my job

Can remove the sheathing from several different sized wire, even coax. Lightweight and flexible, fits comfortably in my back pocket.

Works Great on XLR Cable

I bought this Southwire Cat5/6 stripper at Lowes for a slightly different purpose. I need to strip the rubber jacket from XLR/Microphone cable. This worked great. You just need to be careful not to twist around too many times or you run the risk of cutting the shield. 1-2 times is plenty.
